Why do guys freak out about short hair? I cut mine into a pixie, My Guy loves it (no hair in the shower, says it makes my face really stand out) but every other guy friend says "GROW IT OUT!" They don't say it looks bad, they just say long hair is better. What gives?

Maybe because it is something that guys normally don't have? Men traditionally wear short hair and pants, women have longer hair and skirts. There's something sexy about a woman in a hot dress, too. Nothing wrong with a power suit but why are dresses better?
Unlike balls, boobs are pretty much always on display, and therefore never entirely out of mind. Furthermore, boobs have lots of variation to them, unlike balls - a set of balls is pretty similar to every other set of balls.
In this culture long hair is associated with femininity, so cutting your hair really short might make some guys think that you're unhappy with being feminine.
As for the boob thing, they are just fun to play with...they bounce, fit in our hands, are soft, they turn you on possibly getting you in the mood for other things. Also, they are just barely hidden, and we all always want something that's just out of reach. For the hair thing, I for one do not like when women have shorter hair. Guys freak out because they're easily intimidated by deviation from the gender traits. A woman has long hair. Lesbians have short hair or mannish qualities. You're talking to a gender who, even outside of masturbation, love to just scratch, rub and otherwise be messing with our dicks on a regular occasion. I don't know about the other guys here but I'd say it's a 70-80% visual stimulation to me, 20-30 goes towards actual touch (a majority of that goes to sucking, fondling, playing with the nips, and general squeezing). Id even go as far to say, to me at least, that even during fucking/fooling around the sight of them moving and bouncing to the rhythm is the sexiest part about them. Generally, men are more visually stimulated than women. Do you get more turned on by seeing a guy naked, or having him whisper erotic things to you while he's fully clothed? Seeing women naked makes men horny. Talking about sex makes women horny. Couple that with the fact that women go out of their way to keep themselves covered except under certain circumstances and there you go - boob obsession. Maybe it has something to do with their being difficult to obscure and easy to expose quickly in most cases. Guys can tell when a woman has boobs that are the size that he likes- big medium, small, etc. - and the next logical step is "I'd like to see those naked." Women are also much more willing to lift their shirt than drop their pants in public. I love it when my wife flashes me in public and I'm the only one who sees. She says she doesn't get it either, but she's happy to do it because she knows it turns me on. I don't fully understand the phenomenon, but I'm convinced that the solution is for more women to go topless in more places. Sure it will be weird in the beginning, but once everyone is used to it women will no longer have to worry about boob obsession. Women's reluctance to go topless in public only advances the obsession.
