    Fucking hilarious.

    Try out "fucks" when the appropriate fill-in-the-blank options makes itself available.

    EDIT: And in case you don't get it (like a couple of you, apparently), click on the "shoot the bear", and watch what happens. Then fill in the blank with whatever you want. "fucks" is a funny option. It's a viral add for a product that's similar to White Out.

    An early weekend for some but I work tomorrow. Maybe I'll call in sick. FUCK THE MAN.

    Other news, what a weekend I've got lined up. Tomorrow night, house party. Saturday during the day is an all day music festival called Sonic Boom. Sunday, I'm going to possibly see Piranha 3D, which I've seen once already but it's fucking hilarious and an awesome movie. Sunday night, possibly going off with the soccer ladies to party our pants off. Monday, floating down a river, drinking my face off.

    I cannot wait for the weekend.

    School started as of yesterday for me. Oh fuck. Four months of class, then four months of placement, then internship, then license, then oh fuck. Fuck fuck fuck.

    Neat fact: no less than two people either outright assumed I was not sexually active (this person was a 50-something year old with a daughter my age) or asked me for confirmation that me and my girlfriend of almost three years are sleeping together. This has occurred in the last three weeks. Along with one of my coworkers getting the impression that it was acceptable to call me "little boy" as a form of address, I have been wondering what sort of impression people are getting about me. I await your psychoanalysis.

    That things looks scary as fuck. Hope everyone that is possibly facing dealing with it or does is ok. I'd be hiding under blankets whimpering like a big baby. Part of why I live where I do is we don't have to deal with any of this kind of shit. Fuuuuuuuuuuck that.

    I read an insurance related article the day before yesterday. The subject was flood insurance. They said one home that was located in a flood plain had flooded like 16 times within 10 years I believe. It was worth 159k but over the years in upwards of 600k had been paid out under the flood policy. Why people don't just move is beyond me. RUN LIKE THE WIND.

    For Labor day, we go out to my aunt's farm. It's in the middle of nowhere, there is no internet access, and my cellphone doesn't get service. There is, however, a vineyard half a mile up the road. It's a three-day weekend of drinking, getting high, and building giant fires so we can be high and drunk deep into the night. Also, a potato gun. My aunt grows potatoes just for the gun.

    Nobody panic; Chater has assembled a crack Distributed TiB Ops Team to maximize our ability to keep moderating and bumping threads in the case of a natural disaster.

    Our goals for the next fiscal year are increased reliability and redundancy, as well as a broader fault management approach. Currently, TiB's top risks include Nettdata spilling beer on the server and the mods being simultaneously wasted in the woods. We are working these issues.

    To be fair, I did move in to a new apartment, and renovate a kitchen in a different house. But all things I don't mind. And now, it's beer o'clock, you're right on time.
