    I'm the same way. I'll listen to music constantly during any other activity but for whatever reason, not sex. Some of this might have to do with the fact my first girlfriend had awful taste in music, and we were usually at her place, so I just didn't put music on, and now it seems weird or distracting to have music going in the background.

    I used to like to have music on while having sex. I assume I still do, but there's no stereo in my bedroom, I've found that I really can rock it out to '1-800 Empire' - which is a commercial, so there's that.

    One of my fondest memories is having sex to Traffic's 'Low Spark of High Heel Boys.' Make of that what you will, but it was playing in my dorm room and my girlfriend had made a surprise visit. Maybe the melody, maybe the rhythm, I don't know, but for some reason that song was perfect for that time. I like the song, but I go years without hearing it.

    To this day, I do get a smile on my face and a far away look in my eyes when I do hear that song.

    During, I'm with Pink Candy. I just want to be in the moment and hear the talk and the sounds. No music. It's distracting. (although I may enjoy a cocktail or 12 now and again, I even prefer my sex without booze. Sex doesn't need enhancement when done properly)
