    I'll watch 'em with you! If The Blind Side wins Best Picture, I will officially commit here to never watching another movie again. I think I am pretty safe. How that piece of shit movie even got nominated is beyond me. I know that they expanded the field, but I am pretty sure there most be more worthy movies out there (Hangover, maybe?)

    Hangover was a much better movie than The Blind Side. I have discovered that I am the only person who thought that The Blind Side was a condescending cliche of a movie, but I stand by my review.

    Eye exam followed by an MRI tomorrow. No bueno.

    Since I can't get hammered tonight, I've been drinking beer since about noon. Got a good buzz and now I'm watching something about man-made disasters on the history channel. Life is good.

    As much as I love Vancouver in the summer/fall, the non-mountain winters and spring suck ass.

    It's now a few degrees above freezing, and dark, gloomy, and pissing down rain.

    A Bailey's/Frangellico coffee helps, but it is still depressing as hell.

    Give me the snow and sunshine of the Southwestern Ontario I grew up in any time.


    Oh, and I'll be in Ontario (London) from the 16th to the 23rd of this month, and Toronto from the Friday to Monday to party with friends.

    Let me know if anyone's around and into grabbing a drink or something.

    I'd originally planned the trip as a surprise birthday present for my Mom, who, I just found out today, booked a cruise for her and dad as a birthday present for her during that time. I show up the day they leave.

    Awesome.

    I'm not going to watch them because I could care less about the avatar suck off fest. I personally feel Up in the Air should win it all. But that is a bias answer. I refuse to watch the Blind Side until that fuck doesn't play for the Ravens any more.

    Well so far, justice has been served. Christoph Waltz won best supporting. Not that that's a surprise to anyone. Here's to boxed wine and yelling at Avatar for a couple hours.

    Just got an email saying my professor fell and broke his leg on a hike yesterday, meaning tomorrow's exam is CANCELED baby. So yeah, sorry about your leg and all Jacob, but this is truly fucking awesome. Maybe I'll be able to get home from the library today before 11 pm.
