From time to time, I will buy t-shirts from the online store, http://www.threadless.com/product/2340/Z_A. The other day I saw this one, and I bought it for a friend. The design has all 26 letters of the alphabet, alongside a corresponding character from pop culture. It's an awesome design, and it's fun to try and figure out who each character is supposed to be. Some are total softballs - like obviously E is Edward Scissorhands. But what the hell is Z? FOCUS: This might be a fun game. Between the group, can we name all these characters?
S - Sloth: The Goonies D - The Dude: Big Lebowski L - Lelu (Spelling?): The Fifth Element W - Wayne: Wayne's World T - Tony Montana: Scar Face A - Alex DeLarge: Clockwork Orange V - Vincent Vega: Pulp Fiction (?) That's enough for now.
B: Paulie Bleeker from Juno C: Chad Feldheimer from Burn after Reading J: John McClane from Die Hard R: Ron Burgundy from Anchorman Ill leave the rest for others.
I think P is Paulie Bleeker, and B is Brodie. H is Harold, from Harold and Maude. I was totally impressed with myself when I figured that one out...
Without looking at any other responses: Spoiler A: Alex from Clockwork Orange B: Brody from Mallrats C: Holy crap- is that the principal from Eastbound and Down? D: The Dude from The Big Lebowski E: Edward Scissorhands F: Forrest Gump G: Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings H: No idea I: Indiana Jones J: John McClaine from Die Hard K: Kevin from Sin City L: Lelu from The 5th Element M: Margot from The Royal Tennembaums N: Nacho Libre O: No idea P: That kid from Juno Q: Q from James Bond R: Ron Burgundy from Anchorman S: Sloth from The Goonies T: Tony Montana from Scarface U: Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite V: Vincent Vega from Pulp Fiction W: Wayne from Waynes World X:No idea Y: Yoda Z: Steve Zizzou Not bad- three that I have no clue on, one that I can't remember the kid's name, and one best guess.
A = Alex from A Clockwork Orange E = Edward Scissor-hands G = Gandalf I = Indiana Jones N = Nacho Libre T = Tony Montana from Scarface V = Vincent Vega from Pulp Fiction W = Wayne Campbell from Wayne's World Y = Yoda
I decided to make up my own definitions for them. W- White Trash guy who sits out front of the Trailer Park buy your Grandparents house. G-Grandpa Karl's outfit at Christmas when he's in The Nativity play. M- Mom after she wakes up from her Valium nap. H- Homosexual who uses a British accent to pick up boys at the Mall.
I will admit that I had to look up a couple of the names, but I think I got it. Spoiler A Alex DeLarge B Brodie C Chad Feldheimer D The Dude: E Edward Scissorhands F Forrest Gump G Gandolf H Harold I Indiana Jones J John McClane K Kevin L Lelu M Margot N Nacho Libre O Olive P Paulie Bleeker Q Q R Ron Burgundy S Sloth T Tony Montana U Uncle Rico V Vincent Vega W Wayne X Xixo Y Yoda Z Steve Zissou Did I get it?
I got all of them except for O and M, both characters from "indie/artsy comedies" that I fucking refuse to watch. It reminded me of a lot of this game, where you have to figure out the movie character by Lego figure.
