I did this on another site, and it's pretty interesting to see the results. FOCUS: What are your desktop images? (keep them small, so downsize them if you have to... don't post the full 1900x1200 image)
I have a 3 monitor setup on my workstation in my office. The main display, where I keep all of my icons/etc., is black. The two outboard monitors have had these pics on them for the past few months. Work has been a shit-storm of putting out fires started by others, so this seemed appropriate: The Bitteroot fire in Montana This is just way fucking cool... the Z-Machine. It also has the same kind of complexity as the diagrams of the current global architecture we're building out: On my laptop, I currently have a cool red theme with this:
A self-taken photo from a backcountry hike in Southwest Colorado's Weminuche Wilderness, at about 12,500 feet. One of the seven Highland Mary Lakes can be seen in the bottom right and the peaks are part of the Grenadier Range (high 13ers, I believe).
One of my favorite paintings by Turner. This has been my background for the last 2 years though, so perhaps it's time for a change.
Haven't changed it in a while, probably should, considering I ended up buying the 1200cc predecessor of this guy:
We're getting awfully visual in our threads lately. Is it "Allord month" or something? I got desktops-a-plenty, but as per normal I'll only post a few unless enough people express interest. Also since I'm posting several I'll spoiler them so I don't engorge the thread with my manly presence/presents. I've used each of these as a desktop at one time or another. This is a grab bag, there are a lot more. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler NSFW Spoiler Spoiler
I found this when someone linked the artist and deviant art on the old board's art thread. I bought a print for my little brother because we both loved the movie. We put it on our desktop as well.
Rotate's between about 250 pictures of Marisa Miller and other ridiculously gorgeous models. At this minute, its this: During the time it took to post this, the pic changed to this one: Back off boys, she's mine.
Many of you were in love with my profile picture on the Rudius board, and it's been my desktop for the last year or so. Enjoy! NSFW Her name's Kayleigh Pearson.
