    On a side note, do blind people get tickets for not picking up after their seeing-eye dogs in public?

    I love the fact I completely miss out on 95% of this song's popularity. I don't get it. It sounds just like any other Top 40 song. There's nothing special about the beat, the lyrics, the video cost about $100, and people don't dance much to it if I play it. Maybe it's a Canada thing, because its popularity up here is nothing compared to the States (much like the band Paramour, who nobody has heard of here). I didn't even know it existed until everybody and their mom on here starting talking about it in the "Things men hate but enjoy" thread.

    I am so confused at your response, CJ. See, I thought the WDT should be a Triple Crown theme. (The puns are endless - ordering a Triple Crown, I'll Have Another, etc.) Hence, my subject title from the suggestions forum and my post. (Post! Ha, another horse racing pun . . .) But, then, after Blue Dog's Wonder Pets prelim, then my out-of-place post, followed by your video. (What am I watching?! Gah, why is there a midget girl with a plastic banana?! What does that have to do with horse racing at the Belmont?!)

    And, now AudreyMonroe has posted her breasts on the internet. So . . . here's to TiB for all its randomness! I'll have another!

    I still have not actually heard the song. First time I saw it referenced I thought they had screwed up a Blondie reference.

    I'm not forcibly ignoring it either, it's just conveniently stayed out of my circles, and i don't watch enough youtube to pick up the parodies.

    You know, I actually completely forgot about the race this weekend, which is nuts because I actually have made plans to celebrate this tomorrow. I blame the head injury.

    I was out of town for both the Derby and the Preakness, so this will be the first one that I will get to see. And because I missed the first one, I didn't get to have any mint juleps, which is a goddamn travesty. So even though its not "traditional" for the Belmont I don't think, I'm pulling out the pewter cups and making a big batch while I throw a brisket on the smoker.

    I wonder if I can find La Esposa a big fancy hat in time...

    My mother in law picked up a liter of Glenmorangie Astar the other day for me, as she knows I'm fond of single malt whisky. We'll see how it holds up to my favorite, Laphroaig. So, yeah, whisky weekend for me!
