    On another note, I was woken up bright and early by my credit card company informing me that two charges were made on my card to dating companies outside of the US. Card is now canceled. Great way to start the weekend.

    My city's mayor is horrible, he is ten times worse. To answer your question, yes. Toronto has a fine, fine history of voting the exact opposite of what their interests are.

    Totally got hooked on the adrenaline rush of skydiving, doing my first solo jump tomorrow if the weather cooperates. This should be interesting given my absolutely terrible sense of direction.

    Yeah, that's the Toronto mayor. The same guy who might be facing a fine under a local "distribution of handbills" bylaw because he bailed out of a council meeting to litter cars in the neighbouring church parking lot with magnets that had his phone number on them. The best part is that after not having attended the council meeting, he went back into chambers and fucking voted on the agenda items he hadn't been present to hear about.
