    Tempted to put that fucking Race and Policing book in there. I've read ONE paragraph since I posted about it earlier. I just can't bring myself to read it. I have to find the line between drunk enough to read it, but not too drunk to be able to regurgitate it for a paper.

    Ok, so...one can of Four Loko down the pipes...and I'm drunk.

    I didn't think it possible after just one, I can hold my liquor pretty well and usually by this time on a Friday I would have 5-6 beers in me and be just starting to feel it. Sure enough though, this shit has given me a pretty solid buzz, I'm curious how drinking two of these in the span of two hours would make me feel.

    ...Only one way to find out.

    God, how I've missed it.

    I've been away for 6 years and these morons still haven't figured out how to drive on it. Jesus jumping Christ on a pogo stick. I have Mississippi plates on my truck, I'm the one that should be confused by a white road that's as slippery as a snail's asshole.

    I get to go snowmobiling tomorrow. My buddy has been warning me about being careful with the throttle on his RMK.

    Yeah, I'll be careful.

    Jesus, he's known me almost 30 years and he thinks warning me is going to sink in, especially when alcohol is involved.

    Me, after sipping on our martinis for a few minutes: "Hey, how about we crack open that bottle of cheap bubbly and get shnockered tonight?"

    Husband: I was just about to say, want to open the champagne?

    WIN. Thank you, friend who brought 2 bottles instead of 1 to brunch a couple weeks ago!

    Also, our neighbor makes the best 3-day short ribs in the history of ever. I know this because he brought a plate of it over last night. Who says people aren't friendly in cities? My husband is already trying to think of something impressive to send back over with the plate. We were doing chicken a la king out of the Campanile cookbook last night, which is very delicious, but somehow is not quite on the level of melting fork-tender short ribs.

    Snow fucking sucks. Seriously.

    Pro Tools keeps crashing. This is honestly the only time in my life where I've said to myself, "Gee, I wish I had a Mac right now." Ugh. Every time I load it up on my PC, that's all I think.

    Fuck y'all snow haters.

    I just went stomping around in the woods and it was fucking awesome. Absolute silence, but I could hear the faint tinkling of the snow falling.

    Man, I've missed that sound.

    We'll see how much I enjoy it when I drive back to my temporary home and have to move the snow from my driveway in the morning. I don't have my tractor and my truck is 2WD, moving snow might get interesting.

    Fuck it...I get to go snowmobiling tomorrow. Yay!
