No, I'm pretty sure you repped me about it. Don't worry about it, he was a colossal piece of shit for the last ten years; longer than that, really, but he got really bad around the late '10s. I found out that he had been threatening my other family members, including my cousin's son, AND HIS OWN DAUGHTER. Two people who had never done ANYTHING negative to him. Basically everyone at the service was glad he was dead. He started doing this stuff after he had a motorcycle accident when he got out of prison, and we all suspect that he got some kind of brain damage from it. The weirdest thing was: He never tried bothering/ threatening me. It was all news to me, and I figured he would have the biggest beef with me, because we definitely had some unfinished business. I guess he knew that I wasn't going to put up with any of his shit.
Yeah, still sorry to hear it. That sucks. Sorry I didn't remember you mentioning it before... I must be getting old or something.
Yeah, pretty much. My cousin is the one who handled everything, and he really cares about appearances and such. He's definitely a better man than I am. Yeah, pretty much. He was cremated, and we spread the ashes at a place I won't disclose. Jungle Julia and I had been having an argument* prior to this, and she only agreed to come to make sure he was really dead. She chilled out after meeting some of my family. *Over a stupid misunderstanding.
We have been taking a crack at the classic Brothers Grimm book we have here. My kid was not as shocked at the content in The Juniper Tree as I was when reading it. We talked a lot about millstones and now kiddo is asleep. Kywitt, kywitt, what a beautiful bird am I!
Firstly, my fast-reading ass didn’t see the “a” in the first sentence and I was really excited about the new direction of TiB for a second. Secondly, now read Fitcher’s Bird. Try and get the one with the nightmare-inducing oil painting illustrations.
