That's what I'm saying. We aren't much better than Florida. I'm prepared enough that a four day power outage will not even be uncomfortable. Others in the area will be shivering and starving in the dark because they just haven't taken the time or can't afford to get prepared for what is shaping up to be one of the most epic winter ice storms for a huge swath of the country. I've seen it on Facebook, people complaining about not finding whole milk, but they don't have a plan for heat in a worst-case scenario.

If you're a typical jeep owner, you'll just clear the windshield and drive down the road letting the wind do the rest. Fuck other drivers.

Have you hit the point of “walk around the house at night and do anything except actually sleep?” It’s a fucking PARTY TIME at the NatCH pad.

I do that now with my 3500 because I can't reach the top of my truck's canopy.

    (sorry... not sorry)

    You need a snow broom:

Makes it way easier to remove snow from your windshield too. I don't have that specific model but mine disassembles and can be stashed in the spare tire well in the off season.

I have still had a handful of beers but the only thing that makes me do is piss multiple times a night. I have had horrible sleep since the late 90s. My wife had a miscarriage at 6 months in 1998 and I was up for a straight couple days dealing with all that shit (I wouldn't wish a miscarriage on my worst enemy, no one should ever have to go thru it. How bad is it, I am tearing up right now as I type this and I am not ashamed to say it). That was the trigger for many nights of minutes worth of sleep at at time. Meds helped, but those always cause of things...so alcohol has always played a role, it just real bad when the stress of covid it.

    Anyway onward and upward

FYI - I have 2 kids, girl about to graduate from college and the boy a freshman living his best freshman life away from home. Things turned out pretty fucking great.

I have a huge reach snow broom that lets me reach the entire windshield, I’m just not tall enough to get the top of the canopy.

I'm going wine tasting in Napa on Saturday. Supposed to be 62* and sunny.
