Some absolutely insane footage from the Thailand cave rescue.

The tiny spaces those divers had to go through, I didn't realize it was that bad. And I'm shocked just one person died.

Fuck that’s terrible. Hearing an animal scream like that is awful.

Ever heard a rabbit scream? The sound will make you want to wring it's neck just to shut it up.

Yeah, I was going to say... the cat brought in a baby bunny the other day at about 3am and it woke me the fuck up in a hurry, to say the least.

Luckily it wasn't gimped up, just scared, so I caught it and threw it outside. That was pretty fucking "entertaining"... 3am, barely awake, chasing a baby rabbit around the living room.

    That's right.

The two cats hunt enough birds (starlings, which is a good thing), mice, voles, and chipmunks that they are plenty rewarded.

Good cats you have there. Wait till bunny gets older and goes after your garden.

Cat sleeps right in front of the garden in his lawn chair. My yard is the only one in the area without critters running around in it.

And the raised bed seems to have kept them out.

    Fingers crossed.

Rabbits around here are just little cottontails. They’re scared of everything and are happy eating grass most the time.

Out in Alberta... Christ. Those massive hares out there are the size of Dobermans and they kick cars out of the way.

I've come to realize that 99% of temp workers are temps because they're to fucking stupid to function in the world.

It should be common sense in a professional environment that if a guy in a suit tells you not to do something, you don't do it. If he has to tell you don't do the same thing 5 times in a 3 minute time span, at the very least you're going to get yelled at.

Stupid fucker. I can't even remember the last time I had to raise my voice, but it's been years. At least he had the good sense to listen the 6th time.

You’re the guy in the suit in this scenario?

I can’t imagine having to wear a suit in Las Vegas. The amount of discomfort would make me wanna murder someone.

I mean, I just can’t see Toytoy wearing a suit. I wasn’t even thinking about the whole desert thing.

I was thinking he should have welded up a driveshaft hoop. IIRC, and it's been ages since I did any drag racing, most sanctioned drag strips require one if your car can run in the low twelves or so.

As to other mods, Road & Track summed it up nicely a few yars ago with an article titled "Soup is not the first course."

Half the temps I encounter don’t make it through the first week. Many of them only want a one or day to paycheque to score whatever they’re scraping by with.

Can’t stand the temp industry. Greedy union gravytrains caused this mess.
