    I love cats, a lot. It's sad that so many have to be killed in Australia and other areas where they present such a real threat to the local species :(

    Eat snakes, rodents (which yes I know snakes eat), generally just act like barn cats but with the addition of “hating people” as a bonus personality trait. Can’t confirm, never stuck a gopro to one, but when we’ve had more the pest problems have been less than when we had fewer.

    There was a ton of feral cats in out area when we first moved here about 20 years ago.

    "Was" is the key word, though I haven't had to pop one in forever. The coyotes seem to have solved that problem quite nicely.

    The problem with those bastards is once the feral animals are gone they’ll just move on to stalking and killing beloved pets. We have Coywolfs up here too, fuck them both.
