    wait really? Just for that? Fuck man back in my drinking days (ok, like a year and a half ago, seems like forever ago) that was what I call a typical costco trip. There's nothing exotic or excessive or elaborate in there, just the essentials.

    I read a stat recently that something like 80% of alcohol sales go to only 10% of all alcohol purchasers. Not an industry to be judging anyone in.

    In other news I’ve picked up a new 3x9 scope for the air rifle.

    Some grackles have moved into the area and are pissing on some of the robins and wrens, and a few squirrels are way too fucking at home digging in my gardens.

    Time to tidy that shit up a bit.

    It is a blast. I’ve set up ranging targets around my back yard so I can sight shit in with some degree of accuracy, and as a result I’ve kept the local possum close and well fed.

    Grackles are mean birds that kill off other species outright or by knocking eggs out of nests and taking them over.

    Evil, cutthroat birds that fuck up our cardinal, robin, wren, and finch populations.

    I have Karens with kids for neighbours. The airgun is interspersed with legit nail gun action in the shop so it sounds “normal”.

    I have to be very careful so they don’t hear the “pop” followed by something (pellet) hitting a fence.

    No complaints so far, and I think that’s by paranoid design rather than luck.

    That would be it. Only shitty thing about it are the sights so I put a picatiny rail on it and mounted a cheap amazon scope.
