    It’s a movie that gets better at it goes along. That alien make-up is still crazy, and the character development is great.

    This channel is SO good. It takes a Primitive Technology approach to tools and mechanics, this guy (who I can only guess is a Russian mechanical engineer, or perhaps STEM renaissance man) give excruciatingly detailed and INCREDIBLY edited restoration videos. He also never says a word, but you see and hear every detail.

    We’ve got 30 inches of snow on the ground since Sunday night and it’s still falling. I’ve either picked the best time or the worst time to be sidelined with my broken leg. For the first time I feel like I’m getting too old for this shit.

    We were supposed to get around 16 inches, but it ended up being more like 6 inches of heavy slush. It was still a rough go with the snowblower this morning.

    we were supposed to get 4-8+ inches, but ended up with maybe 3-4 inches. Still, it was enough for me to finally use the snowblower I bought over 2yrs ago. It was slushy in parts, especially at the base of the driveway where the plow trucks had already made their pass and while I didn't expect it to launch the slush 40ft, I was a little surprised when the slush barely cleared the chute.
