Nice and dark. Has potential.
Robert De Niro might actually be in a good movie this decade.
I'm genuinely curious to see if they can adapt this to a movie and pull it off...
Man, I hope this is half as good as the book. But, Rebecca Ferguson as an evil badass? Yes, please.
I really enjoyed the original, 1995 Tank Girl... and it looks like it's getting a reboot. I'm non-noncommittally intrigued.
Netflix is the only monthly bill I actually enjoy paying.
This is the perfect crazy role for Crispin Glover. Also, Nina Dobrev is straight fire.
This looks like a riot. A great cast and something that looks original and fun. Definetly checking this out:
I really don't think pimping his involvement in The Last Jedi is the best marketing strategy here....
I don’t either. I’m pretty sure the director does it as a come-at-me-like trolling but, considering he also made Looper which was a vastly superior film.
The Last Jedi proves my thirst on how “Most people” are wrong when it comes to things like movies. Most people and critics thought Last Jedi was a great movie. Those people are wrong. It is not a good movie. It is not a good Star Wars movie. Yes, it ruins the franchise. The movie, cold, constantly played out the exact opposite way I wanted it to. The Ewok movies were better.
I guess this goes in this thread, instead of TV Shows?
There is just no way of this going wrong.
I can’t believe that a movie by the guy who made Road Trip and Old School has gotten Hollywood to lose its damn mind. The same people that called Bob Dole an old fuddy duddy for criticizing Natural Born Killers are turning around and saying filmmakers need to be mindful the art they create.
They don’t have to be mindful of ANYTHING. To quote Tarantino: “Wait a minute.... I can film whatever the fuck I want.”
Hopefully this will earn a swift and brutal backlash. Only an idiot could consider a movie to be “controversial” anymore. Give me a fucking break. Am I allowed to bitch about women in action movies because the very notion of a woman beating a man in fight itself is fucking ridiculous? But I don’t. It’s just a fucking movie.
It’s controversial because it shines a light on something that society would rather pretend doesn’t exist. Same shit with Taxi Driver. Plus people are fucking dumb.
There are two versions of this world: the world that you wish it was, and the one that actually exists.
I am really looking forward to this:
especially now that I've seen this:
Same. Im eminently more interested in WWI than WWII and there just has not been enough movies made about it.
Also is that Tommen Baratheon?
