    It's not so much the travel time as the $2k per person return fair from Brisbane to Toronto. If somebody wants to pay for the flights, I'll show up. I love watching trainwrecks.

    I would go but mostly I would just sit around trying to bring up stuff for everybody to talk about. Then Blue Dog would be all like "fuck it let's drink!" and that'd be it.

    Also, I've done a few TiB meetups so far, and they went really, really well.

    I'm amazed it isn't already in Urban Dictionary as 'Observing the inevitable, but ill-advised (and slightly nauseating) sexual encounter that is bound to happen when a bunch of internet forumites from geographically distributed locations, meet in the real world.'
