    Just be sure that if it is in January it is not superbowl weekend or the BCS championship if LSU is playing. Otherwise game on! I am actually going down there this weekenda and at least one other weekend before January so I will be scouting new bars and pubs.

    Miss squirrel, you can scout us a good pub/bar/whatever while you're down there. I'm sure we can schedule it to not conflict with fancy football games.

    I was just pointing out that fancy football games turn the city make the city more chaotic than it already is. Best to avoid this if at all possible. I would also recommend if we don't have it during January not trying to meet up during Mardi Gras unless gridlock is your idea of fun.

    She has a point. The Sugar Bowl is the 3rd and the National Championship game is the 9th. You probably do want to stay away from the Quarter on those days.

    Pussy Galore mentioned the weekend of the 14th. Let's shoot for that.

    I can't count days very well. Either January 14-16 (MLK holiday weekend - Saturday through Monday) or January 20-22 (Friday through Sunday) will work for me.
