I'm watching the first season of Landman. It's pretty good IMO. A quote from Tommy to his ex-wife: "Enjoy the beach, your tits look great, don't get syphilis." Said as he's ending a phone argument.

    Anyone watch Murderbot?

I’ve been a fan of the books for years. And they did a great job with the audiobooks.

Season 1 was a great Book 1 adaption to the screen. Did well to capture the right level of humour and storytelling… “fucking humans”.

Just got picked up for season 2, which should be interesting, because as much as season 1 was a straight book 1 storyline, I don’t see books 2-4 being the same. I think they’ll have to do a ton more work to make a season 2 storyline that fits.

I’m cautiously optimistic, and looking forward to it.

You could probably give a second episode a watch, but I would say that the campy and quirky theme and presentation are very much core to the show so if you don't enjoy it after that, it's not worth finishing.

I enjoyed it overall. It was different and fun, with consistent characters throughout and a good ending.

I just finished the new King of the Hill episodes. I don't think that any of the individual episodes reached the highest highs of the original series, but they were still solid. I actually started out a bit disappointed, as I didn't think that the first two episodes were that good. But most of the rest were consistently funny.

I think that I enjoyed Bobby's and Connie's arcs the best in this new batch of episodes. It was cool to see them as college aged kids. I am interested to see where the writers take their stories.

    Just queued it up.

By all accounts it's a solid show.

    Looking forward to watching it.

I don't think he was the same as the kids that were downloaded into an android body, I think he was an android like Ash in the original Alien.
