Season 4 The first episode of this season was fucking bizarre thanks to it pulling a Memento and running two separate plots side-by-side, but one of them in reverse chronological order. I can see how it was necessary to do it that way for the comic book joke to work, but still, strange. I enjoyed last night's episode a lot more. Interesting that they brought a character like Captain Sunshine out of nowhere this late in the game, (I'm pretty sure this is the last season,) but the whole episode seemed like a one-shot. Odd that they'd do that immediately after springing the Sphinx plot twist on us in the premiere.
Re: The Venture Bros. Season 4 I mean, when hasn't the show had a bizarre first episode of the season? I thought they did a great job of keeping the episode chaotic, while opening up more areas for the plot to explore. And the comic book joke was pretty sweet. I didn't know that this was the shows last season. Sources? (I'm not trying to call you out, I'm just curious) I was pretty surprised that we didn't get any Brock lovin' in that episode. Then again, they may not want to wear out the new twist. I went into the episode thinking, "what next?", and came out forgetting what the fuck had happened in the first episode. Not that that matters, because really, what actually ever gets accomplished in this show?
Re: The Venture Bros. Season 4 No sources. Hearsay, mostly. Buzz around other forums seems to be that this season is it for the show. I think Doc Hammer has gone on record at one point saying he wants to do something else, but I can't find evidence of that online.
Re: The Venture Bros. Season 4 Episodes one and two were hilarious. I sincerely hope this show doesn't stop for anything, it's among the best comedies on TV today.

Re: The Venture Bros. Season 4 Completely missed the fact that Venture Bros has been back on the air for Pt. 2 of Season 4. I spent last night watching the first three episodes and they are fantastic. I had forgotten how funny the show can be. Brock and Hunter talking about how sad the strippers tits almost had me crying.
Words can't possibly express how excited I am for this show to return. Easily my one of my top three favorite shows on tv right now. To say nothing of easily being one of my favorite shows of all time. Suffice to say, I'm properly preparing myself for the premiere.
