I don't hate or even dislike Taylor but do think she's over rated in the sense that I don't understand how she's a global phenomenon. Catchy ear worms? I guess. Musical talent and global phenomenon like MJ back in the 80s? No. It reminds me of when Katy Perry tied (beat?) MJ's record of #1 singles on an album and people were saying she's this generations MJ. That's laughable.

When the camera cut to Taylor Swift watching his podium interview, it looked like she was trying to send some Charles Xavier-style brain message to her PR firm and figure out how to react. She’s talented, she’s popular, she’s extremely business-savvy and has an army of people on her team to keep her that way. She’s got millions of fans who will destroy anyone’s life if they criticize her. I don’t see her marrying Kelce though. It’ll fizzle out in a few months, and then she’ll have songs about “the night we kissed under Vegas confetti” or some shit like that.
I don't get the whole right wing conspiracy nonsense but it gets distracting how much space it takes up reporting. That level of celebrity worship just isn't entertaining to me and it's invaded a decent portion of every conversation on the NFL. Remember when Romo was dating Jessica Simpson? It was just tiring. Kelce went to UC a few years after I graduated. Watched them both play. Maybe. But it’s really important to her fans that her songs are about real, definitive personal current events in her life. If she writes six new love songs about him? Cool. But if they get happily married and she writes dozens of new love songs, no breakup songs, or maybe those “remember all my old exes, let’s rehash that emotion again” songs? Those fans are gonna want the fresh tea.
