    Now here's what I don't get. I live in Philly, which has a significant gay population. I'll see guys walking down the street as couples, and you look at them and they look like guys. Makes sense, given that's what they like.

    The lesbians totally baffle me. Invariably, one of them looks girlish, and the other looks like a lumberjack. If you're into women, which I am, why would you want one that looked like a guy? Makes no sense to me.

    Oh, and Nickelback is gay.

    Sunday Bloody Sunday might have been a good song, but there's a litany of answers to that question that we needn't get into.

    Auxiliary question: Maybe it's just me, but I find people who claim they're Irish or Italian when their parents/grandparents might have been born there kind of ridiculous. I think it's romanticizing a place they've never been, a language they've never spoken and trying to make themselves look less silly when major international soccer tournaments happen. I remember on the old board someone answered the question of what Italians think about Americans claiming to be Italian. The response was that they didn't care about heritage or anything; they're American.

    Furthermore, good news, everyone! I had an exam re-marked and I've no passed a course I otherwise would have failed. My exam mark pretty much doubled between the first markings and what I walked out of my prof's office with. That was two weeks worth of worry over nothing.
