    The cast alone has me fucking thrilled:

    Patton Oswalt as a talking bird.
    Gwendoline Christie as Lucifer is about as fantastic as it gets, especially if she gets to tempt/torment Charles Dance (who to be fair, might as well have played Lucifer in everything he's done).
    Boyd Holbrook as the Corinthian is pretty interesting.

    Also, Death was a quintessential 90's cool hot, goth girl (fuck yeah, I had a crush on her, and so did you), and I'm kind of bummed they didn't go with someone who would have fit that bill, but curious where this goes.

    And for much of it's history, it was "unfilmable" a la Watchmen, Saga, and some of the others on those lists. Recently, Gaiman did an audiobook adaptation on Audible that did the original comics justice, so it's not limited to just graphic novels.

    With Gaiman involved, I'm optimistic.

    First season has 11 episodes and is due to wrap filming this month, to be released late 2021.
