    I'm doing my motorcycle course this weekend. Starts tonight. If the commercials have been accurate, this means that women's clothes will fall off spontaneously in my presence by Monday, right?

    Fuck, friday night and I spent it in the office. However, I got tasty noodles on the way home. As an added silver lining, I was spending my time preparing to get all Red Forman on our delinquent staff and partners who insist on fucking with things they've been repeatedly told not to touch. I get them locked in a room next Saturday and I'm running the show. I'm going to break my foot off in so many asses, they'll practically be begging for a hairbrush.

    This will/should be my first dry weekend in....well, a long time. My liver needs a break and I am not cutting weight the way I want. My 10k is Memorial Day and I am guessing that is a great day to celebrate accomplishing the damn thing with a brew.

    I am cutting back on the mary jane as well, I have been slowly reducing it. My lungs need a little help if I expect them to keep up with me.

    I wonder if you drunks will be less entertaining now....which may drive me to it. Damn it.

    My boss went on vacation for his anniversary, so I haven't been to work since Tuesday. I got properly drunk Tuesday night and have been testing the "drink so you don't get a hangover" thing. I only drink enough to not feel hungover, but I have no idea if this is actually going to work. Has anyone else ever done this? Did it work for you?

    I woke up early this morning to hit the gym before I planned to go to this job interview. They just accept walk ins at any time before 11am. So I'm getting all ready, double check the resume, get my I Give A Fuck clothes on and then double check the employment ad and notice they don't take people on Fridays. I didn't notice that the previous 5 times I read it. That line was obviously put in after I read the ad. Fuck me.

    The good people at Modern Drunkard Magazine call this 'Fitzgeralds Fugue'.

    It's the short window you get between waking up drunk and the onset of a hangover. If you start drinking within that window you can stop the hangover and drink through the day.

    Never tried it myself though.

    Day off bitches! The girlfriend and I both took today off so we can go to the Oklahoma Science Museum (formerly the Omniplex), which I loved when I was a kid but I haven't been there in years. Then it will be time for happy hour beers over at Lake Hefner since it should be in the mid to high eighties today.

    Then later when drunk I shall post some rockin thread ideas. Life is good.

    I'm assuming I can do both at the same time. The website requires a lot of hours, but it's off and on work. I need to check my Google Alerts regularly, but there's often nothing worth writing about, so I can get back to doing something else. And when there is something, it only takes about 10 minutes or so.

    I'm hoping I get this and that it pays enough for me to take a trip up to NY for Rob's book launch.

    Have you been to his website? Serious question. I repped him on this, and then went back to confirm it had not been changed. No one will read that piece of shit until you make the home page a little less messy. Nothing lines up, and there are at least 10 too many things going on. This isn't 1999. We are not impressed by how many boxes you can draw on the screen. And I'm not sure if it is the color scheme or something else, but reading over there makes my head hurt.
