The Official 2016 TiB Fantasy Football Thread

For the division winner games, is there gonna be an official Game Center game or will you just compare the scores?

 

Unfortunately I'm just going to compile the scores. I'll announce on here as well as in the message board of the league the winners and when they get to the round, who they want to play.

 

Do players from this week's losing teams become available through the waiver wire and/or trades?

 

No. Those teams play in the loser brackets, Like Parker is going to be doing.

 

Oh for Christ's sake iczorro. You can't trade away all your good players to someone still in the playoffs the moment you lose. That is bullshit and you know it.

 

Yeah I had to vote against. That trade is so far beyond the pale that it scream collusive. I can't see how any player in good conscience could trade away their best three players like that.

Zorro, I'll rescind my vote against if you provide an explanation, but it really really looks like you guys are trying to screw up the league.

Sorry I had to veto that trade by changing league permissions.
I can't see a viable reason for that trade after one team is eliminated from the playoffs and the ongoing team gets three top tier starters.

If the trade was made at any other point in the season, it would be one sided, but I would have let it go through. At this point in time, I can't see any justification for it.

Holy fuckin shootout. Nice game, JPrue. More than a third of that came from LeVeon Bell, which means your drafting was excellent. I've just kicked ass on the waiver wire this year.

League #1 has the matchups set, still waiting on the NoMya team to decide who they want to play this week. Let me know before 3pm so I can adjust the playoffs. If you don't reach me by then, I'll assign you the lower starting seeded team.

So, theoretically, is it possible to have personnel from teams that are eliminated from the playoffs to be put back in the free agent pool? It would be pretty awesome to do that plus have a separate waivers budget for the playoffs to handle such a thing.

 

With the typical fantasy football software, there isn't a way to set it up to make it fair or worthwhile.

If I paid for one of the private owned and operated fantasy sites, there is a lot more we could do, but those would cut drastically into the prize pool.
