    I'll be out there at midnight seeing what's going on.

    The Company has figured out how to have extremely detailed Excel grids and reports be view able on mobile devices, so I'm looking forward to seeing my own transactions show up in realtime as they populate through the system.

    My dad bought two smaller birds this year for a little cook off.

    He'll be roasting one with herbs and olive oil, side of stuffing.

    I'm deep-frying mine injected with Cajun butter with a side of garlic mash.

    One of the biggest problems I have with Thanksgiving is that both the GF and I greatly prefer dark meat, so we end up cooking a whole bird, fighting over who gets the legs and then suffer through the piece of shit dry white stuff. If we break up I'm going to make sure I date someone who prefers white meat.

    I just had the most stereotypical female roommate versus male roommate conversation ever.

    Last night he found out that his ex and good friend hooked up, and he's upset about it. My suggestions:

    "Do you want to watch a sad movie?"
    "Do you want to watch a happy movie?"
    "Do you want some chocolate?"
    "Do you want to watch Sex and the City?"

    His suggestions:
    "I think I'm just going to do some work."
    "Do you want to fight me?"

    Ouch, that sucks. I've been that guy before with my friends SO's and it fucking sucks for all parties involved.



    Since I grew up JW and my family doesn't do jack shit, my Thanksgiving plans are to hang out with the GF and her family. I just hope they have the same traditions I do; watch football games I don't care about and get shit-housed.

    Isn't your roommate a Muslim? Why didn't you just simplify with one and offer to make him a pound of bacon?

    It was from the Facebook stupidity thread, where someone posted an image of a conversation between a girl and a guy being really dumb about how Stephen Hawkings hasn't actually contributed anything useful to society (or something) and the guy's M.O was after every single sentence he would say "BOOM ROASTED." Or, "Can I get a BOOM ROASTED?" My favorite part was how it was always totally incorporated into the sentence, like: "Yeah what has science ever done for us can I get a BOOM ROASTED?"

    At least, that's where I thought it was from...

    We had a pre-Thanksgiving party and I did an overnight turkey brine consisting of 6 bottles of red wine and sea salt. It was a good way to solve the dry white meat areas. And stuffing two sticks of butter underneath the skin before roasting probably helped too.
