It seems, according to his his friends, that she was sleeping with her lawyer (possibly the entire jury), paid off the jury, and was let off because most of the jurors were not white and hated the judge. Can someone *ahem* Ballsack, B1LY, et all *ahem* clarify a double jeopardy question for me? She was found not guilty of first degree murder. If the state has the evidence re-examined and a cause of death can be determined that points to manslaughter (or negligence), can they try her for it? If you've been found not guilty of Murder One, can they turn around and try to get you for manslaughter?
They already tried her for manslaughter and aggravated child abuse. Well obviously she's a big whore, fucking her lawyer AND the jury she paid off. She was probably turning tricks until this morning to pay off the jury and keep her rocking lifestyle going. So, I didn't know anything about this trial until today. I've read a couple articles about it, but they haven't answered one big question for me, so maybe someone here can: Did the mom give any explanation as to why her daughter's remains ended up in a trash bag in the woods if it wasn't her? Was her defense that the girl got kidnapped?
The basic defense was: Her daughter accidentally drowned, Casey's father molested her when she was young, her crime was trying to cover up the drowning.
It's funny because her whole defense basically fell apart when the dad denied everything about the molestation and covering up the drowning, as they claimed HE hid the body. But I guess the evidence wasn't strong enough to prove she ever intended to kill her daughter in the first place, the prosecutors content that she might have died by being suffocated by duct tape.
You know, there was some guy here in RI that murdered a little boy, and was due to get out this year because of "good behavior". The father of the kid came out and said, "If he gets out, I'm killing him. I promise you, if he gets out, he's dead." They kept the guy in jail. I have a feeling the same type of thing will happen to Casey Anthony. She'll eventually get hers.
