She'll need money to cover all of the court costs. She'll be in Playboy (or maybe Hustler) in a year or less.

Unfortunately the prosecution spent a lot of time and effort trying to prove that Casey Anthony was a liar, instead of proving she was a murderer. Not saying I agree with the decision, but I can't say I'm surprised.

How long until she has her own reality show?

She's going to get a book deal, be on Oprah, and do all sorts of TV spots...who knew you could become so famous for drowning a child?

Find it hilarious how facebook is exploding with this. I knew about the case and looked at the partying pictures of her. I didn't know until today that the state never proved cause of death or time of death. The burden of proof is on the state. People really think she was going to go down for MURDER ONE when they couldn't prove cause of death? Shit even for manslaughter that seems like a stretch.

And so today OJ simpson is very excited because he is no longer the most hated innocent murderer in the US.

Change "pacifier" to "14 inch dildo" and "mouth" to "ass" and I'll buy a copy.

I'm thinking one of two things for her show tonight. She'll either spend the entire show yelling into the camera as if our justice system should be her as judge, jury and executioner, or she'll pussy out and "take the day off" like she did when it came time to eat crow after the Duke case was dropped.

Most of the evidence was circumstantial and if you can't prove anything beyond that her daughter was killed and Casey Anthony is a liar, she deserves to walk for it. How can you expect a conviction with no cause of death? Heads should roll at that office.

I'm actually kind of shocked that the defense's theory wound up holding up as well as it did though. When they first came out with the accidental drowning scenario, it looked like they'd made it up the morning of opening arguments. When they couldn't even punch any sizable holes in that, it seemed like she actually had a chance to get away with it.

Also, I'd be curious to see the number of applications if Fox went back to "Early-2000s Fucked Up Reality TV" mode and gave her a dating show. I'd also probably watch it.

A Vivid contract could be worth millions to her.

The hilarious fat hillbillies outside of the court house are cracking me up. OJ number 2. Good lord.

Facebook is full of "Burn in hell Casey Anthony" messages, which made me kinda sad.

Our criminal justice system is pretty damn robust. Our civil system is retarded, but the criminal justice system has a lot going for it. The idea that a prosecution has to prove, not just suggest, to twelve people that the defendant committed the crime and have all of those twelve people say "Guilty" or "Not guilty" is probably the best way of finding guilt or innocence that our fucked up nature can provide for.

If twelve average people said "Nope, not good enough" to the prosecution, then that's good enough for me. Who are we to tell them that they're dumb? We didn't get the whole picture. All we got was Nancy Grace talking shit and a bunch of media clowns blowing the fuck up over it.

The flipside of the coin is she could have been wrongly found guilty and an innocent person would have gotten the death penalty. So, I have a decent amount of faith in the jury. It's not about if she did it, it's about proving beyond a reasonable doubt.

    Plus,

I vaguely knew of the case before today, but after reading up on it, I just gotta wonder what the hell the prosecution was thinking? First degree? I agree with the jury on that verdict. How there weren't more child abuse/neglect, and/or manslaughter charges brought is beyond me. Maybe the lawyer types can weigh in on that.

Seems to me like Casey accidentally killed the kid, then continually lied once the body was found. While I believe she should rot, I have to agree that there was not enough evidence to convict on that first degree charge.

Florida: This is why we can't have nice things.

    Fuck.

All I can think of is the end of the South Park episode where Some Puerto Rican Guy was blamed for Butters' parents trying to kill him.

    <a class="postlink" href="http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/104372/murdering-murderers-confess" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/1 ... rs-confess</a>

"LIAR! Tell us what you know YOU GODDAMNED LIAR... you know what goddamn well what happened to your kid, you murdering murderers. CONFESS! LIAR!"

Unbelievable. This is going to chew my ass up tonight. I still hope that slor accidentally sets herself on fire in a tub of gas and barbed wire.

Either stop saying she's hot, or buy new eyes for yourself. She looks like fucking George Hamilton with liver lips.
