I think everyone on the Heat roster is going to block a Tiago Splitter shot at some point this series.

What makes you think that he would accept? It's an absolutely terrible job. Come in with a bad roster, Gordon's attitude problems, a disengaged fan base, and the knowledge that management is both stupid and capricious. They hire and fire on basically an annual basis, even when they should know damn well it's not really the coach's fault.

    Gator and Nom, for shame.

MC, by no means was I saying he should go work for the Bobcats. He definitely shouldn't accept the job at all. That comment was meant to say, this guy isn't even getting looks from the fucking Bobcats. The Clippers should be trying to get him. This man needs to get hired.

The thing is, I bet he is. I bet he has a mailbox full of voicemails from MJ asking him why he doesn't call him back these days, why doesn't anyone call him back these days.

I just read that Joey Crawford will officiate tonight. See you guys at Game 7!

The problem with this is that it assumes he gets along better with LeBron than Duncan. He was the head referee in that controversial Pacers game. He's despised by Heat fans almost as heavily as by Spurs fans.

As you can see, LeBron is no fan:

Joey Crawford is no friend to the Heat. He tries to be the biggest star on the court, and with LBJ, thats hard to do.

Then again, maybe the Heat can get Joey to cover Danny Green. That would be a change.

Look for a big game from the Birdman tonight. Heat need his energy and his intensity.

And if the Heat win & he gets ejected and suspended for the next game, who cares.

The thing LeBron has going for him is that he's never been ejected for laughing on the bench and showing the world that Joey Crawford has the emotional fortitude of a 14-year-old girl. Also, there's this: www.thebiglead.com/index.php/2012/12/01 ... -halloween

They know Tim Duncan is a Hall of Famer, right? They're out of position in the post damn near every possession.

Labron cannot pass up wide open threes just to turn the ball over. Turrible.

I know he likes getting to the hoop, but Jesus Christ. He's passing up open jumpers to charge into two or three defenders.

I'm also not crazy about how this game is being officiated, but oh well (specifically, the way that charge/blocks have been called).

I'll stay away from the officiating, not that I think it's good, but they shoot jumpers with no one inside to rebound. They pass up open jumpers to drive and then don't finish. It's frustrating. I don't watch a ton of basketball but this seems bad. Even if both teams are really good defensively.

    LeBron.

You are playing against by far the best coach in the league, against one of the best designed teams in the league. You can not afford to give up possessions.

You should be pissed off if the ref misses a call. You know what you should do with that? Defend the fuck out of your man. Grab some offensive boards. Prove that you're the best player in the world and not a whinging little twit.

    Be a goddamn adult.

Christ. Despite Van Gundy's apology, that was a wrestling style takedown by Duncan.

I thought it was over, great shot for Ray Allen.
