Funny that you mention "My Girl", because Anna Chlumsky as Vada was one of them. She looks great on Veep now, too. The first time I had that "tingling sensation" was from a literary influence. Penthouse letters? No. Jaws. The novel. By Peter Benchley. By the time I was 10, I had seen enough representations of the female anatomy to know, and to know that my parts fit those parts. I had taken Jaws out of the local library, expecting awesome descriptions of dismemberment and mangling. And then I came to an age-inappropriate description of a man and woman having an affair, something that didn't make it into the movie. Either they meet for lunch, or the woman is fantasizing about it. She imagines going into the bathroom in the restaurant and taking off her underwear, and then they drive off together and get into things in the car. The imagery set something off, and things started tingling, and moving, and feeling . . . .nice.
