    fyi, i'm not a fan of attaching video, because it's too big. link to it, but don't attach it.

    i'll be disabling attaching for non-images shortly.

    the board update killed the old settings.

    i don't know about "adorable," but i do have the urge to use an etch a sketch, for some reason.

    i am not getting email notices when i receive pms anymore. also, the boobie pictures that the tibettes are sending me are not coming through via pm.

    okay, i may have embellished that last part. but, the first part is true.

    just investigated and turns out the mail settings in dns were wrong, so they're fixed.

    could take anywhere up to 72 hours for the change to make its way through the various anti-spam setups.

    i've just modified the email settings a bit, so let me know if you start getting email notifications.

    it works for me, but there's no guarantee it's working for everyone.

    yeah, there was some fucking weirdness going on overnight.. not sure what... seems that the site was getting random, bizarre errors of pages not showing up, etc., but nothing was showing up in the logs.

    it seems to be working (somewhat) now, but really, i don't know why it stopped, or why it started... i'm going to assume it was a network issue outside of my control.

    please let me know if it's being screwed up or working for you guys.

    i think i fixed it. nett and i discussed, at length, the absolute nothing we both did to the server this morning in an attempt to address it. i'm convinced my nothing is superior to his nothing.

    it's equally possible that angel's fetus contributed to the solution.

    it is part asian. in between doing the math homework of a hundred white kids, it fixed this board and also got its phd.

    i apologize if it's been mentioned elsewhere, but the board is now autoplaying videos embedded in posts. including off screen (have to scroll down to find) replies, resulting in just random shit spewing out of my computer while i try to hunt for what's playing.

    send me a link to a page where that does it, and be sure that any settings you've got on your browser aren't set to "auto-play".

    depending on the embedded video, it very well might be flash that is auto-playing.

    anyone else experiencing this?

    on page 93 of the youtube thread, guenerica's post has the auto play code embedded. it starts automatically. (but only on my desktop, not on my phone)

    then, if somebody attaches a .mov or .mp4 file, it auto plays for me on desktop and phone. this only happened under the previous board structure, when aetius posted hooker's movie in the boobie thread; but, now that anybody can attach one, it does that.
