Recently, a couple women cleaning out an old storeroom found some old steamer trunks, one locked and containing some antique tchotchkes, along with...

    TWO MUMMIFIED INFANTS!

    dun dun DUNNNNNNN!

FOCUS: Ever found any hidden treasures while cleaning out your attic?

ALT FOCUS: Alternatively, ever found anything really screwed up? Were you helping to clean out your dead grandmother's house when you found her vibrator and crazy fetish porn?

ALT Focus: I worked at the computer lab of the College I went to during the summers. One summer I worked there we were too damn good at what we did so we quickly ran out of things to do. In an effort to keep us busy and out of trouble they had us clean out the attic in the Old Main building. It was full of shit. Clothes, books, pots, and a bunch of other miscellaneous crap. We had been cleaning for a couple days tossing pretty much everything we saw when a coworker came across an item that made us realize that this isn't just a bunch of random junk. Going through a box of crap this guy came across a purple heart. It belonged to the father or grand father of one of our English teachers. Turns out the guy had been living up there since his divorce. The real disturbing part was the same guy that found the purple heart also came across a big nasty vibrator. On top of finding it and holding it like a sword the guy brought it back to his dorm. Oh ye lonely computer nerd ,how I pity thee.

Other than a mouse I heard scratching up there haven't seen anything, however that was the attic over one part of the house, never have checked the other one. When i think about it, I haven't had a need to so I won't because only one of three things will happen.

1 - I find a case full of money. (sweet)
    2 - I find a body in a trunk (not sweet)
3 - (most likely option) I find nothing and am sad because neither 1 nor 2 occured

I do figure if i ever hit the lottory big, when i moved, I would leave a couple bundles of money hidden in the house for whoever bought it. just 5 or 10 grand, but enough that someones going be damned happy.

When my grandmother died, we cleaned out her entire house. She outlived her husband by about 14 years, so she spent a lot of time living on her own.

    1. Under her bed was a suitcase covered entirely in dust bunnies. When I say entirely covered, I mean we did not know it was a suitcase when we first saw it.
    2. Also under the bed, millions of used tissues also covered in dust bunnies
    3. In the attic was a shoebox with all 185 Charlie's Angel's bubblegum trading cards. Including all 33 stickers. I lost them all a week later.
    4. In the closet was a very sheer bubblegum pink teddy.
    5. One drawer of a bureau had 30 year-old weed that someone forgot about. We gathered it up, dried it out a little, and attempted to smoke it. It was horrible.
