In case you've been living under a rock/Canada recently, you've heard about Texas schools teaching to the test with classes like "how to commit battery in the field of play" and "racial profiling in the clock-building industry." While Texas has aced these classes, the subjects aren't very applicable to the real world nor are they in any way funny (unless you count that ref's pony tail). In this thread, pretend you are in charge of creating the courses for a college freshman. You can require anywhere between 12-18 hours each, for two semesters. You name the classes, write a short synopsis of each, and decide how many credit hours they are worth. They can either be... Focus: funny and in no way applicable to real life, or Alt. Focus: serious classes focusing on the skills one would actually use and need (instead of the bullshit core requirements we have now)
