Shocking, I know. I have obsessively watched this entire show, and I dislike the 2nd & 3rd season's 45 minute format as opposed to the 22 minutes of the first season. Also, the love story is a hot pile of dogshit. It's a show about guns, unless it turns into Cops, who gives a damn? Also, the "builds" in the 2nd & 3rd season are more monster-truck bullshit (flame cannon, where they basically build a mount for a giant flame thrower), instead of cool historic gun restoration where I actually learned about some older weapons (the Maxim build with the propeller test, for example). I tried to continue watching "American Guns", but Rich ruined it for me. The white-trash 1911 was the final nail in the coffin.
So, Vince quit and started his own company: http://www.mesakineticresearch.com/about Is it just me, or does this sound like the same shit the Discovery Channel pulled with American Chopper? Might be interesting to watch, given that Vince was probably the only person besides Flem that knew how to build firearms, at least in my opinion.
