As a Sam Adams drinker I was disappointed as well too. Save the cherry and float some Guinness on it, that turns it into one hell of a great drink. Watch out for the Shipyard sampler too, definitely 'distinct' flavors.

I grew up with a warm place in my heart for Saranac. Always a safe bet in my book.

I've been trolling around craigslist at bands who need bass player and holy jesus a lot of them blow. They all want ridiculously talented people but they have none themselves. Some people's kids.

I'm not going anywhere tonight. Got myself some Avery Hog Heaven and listening to Pantera's Great Southern Trendkill. This album will fist a hippie. It's really hard not to tear around the place breaking through walls. If the neighbor asks why I'm launching furniture through the window I'll just play the song, he'll nod knowingly, then we'll mosh down the road kicking up asphalt.

I enjoy their Latitude 48. Drinking one right now. Nothing really jumped out at me in the sampler though. And I still don't like they include the regular Sam Adams in their summer sampler...

Unless you guys are talking about their regular sam adams sampler with that abortion that is Sam Adams Lambic. Ugh. Utter shit.

Bread and butter was a big thing on the Italian side of my family. No wonder I was a fat kid. I just saw it sitting out, all soft and shiny, and just wanted to scoop up a bump and pop it in my mouth.

Once when I was little my parents asked what I wanted for dinner and I said "something to put butter on." I swear I'm not a fatass.

Speaking of my parents, I'm living at my mom's for a bit while she's out of town before I go to Italy this summer, and her fucking AC just shit the bed. Not sure what's wrong, and I'm hoping it's just a freon thing, but it's 83 degrees in the house. Fucking lame. So I'm drinking alone in my underwear waiting for my I guess girlfriend to get off work so I can go sleep in her twin size bed. We're both pretty little people but that shit gets damn crowded. PLUS it's that time of the month. In light of the best/worst sex thread, I'm trying to work up the courage to go for it anyway (she's down), and I'm not squeamish about normal blood, but it somehow seems different coming from down there. Here's hoping the Magic Hat I picked up helps me overcome that.

Reading over it this post it seems kinda whiny. Whatever. It's easy to whine when it's sweat-from-playing-video-games hot INSIDE.
