Rave: Just bought a pizza for one of my helpdesk guys 1200km away. Because after weeks of screaming arguments - he was the first member of the helpdesk to do something right.

Rant: Took weeks of screaming argument to get one of them to actually do a passable impersonation of their fucking job. Was so surprised when it actually happened that I bought the guy a fucking pizza.

Buckets experience started out generally well. Final tally: 25 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 dunk, 3 badly missed three pointers, several stereotypes about black basketball players confirmed.

Oh, and a 27 point victory. My team is deep -- we have a great scorer AND maybe the fastest guy in the league AND 4 guys 6'2 and above. I haven't seen a lot of the other teams play, but I have a feeling that we're going to be very competitive.

Ravt: I have a decrepit, rotten, fallen-to-ruin garage that is nothing more than an eyesore. I don't feel like spending $20k on a new one, and I may have to sell this summer. So, this weekend was spent executing Operation Lipstick-On-A-Pig Garage Repair. Took down all the rotted fascia and trim, power washed all the paint off it, hauled a trailer load full of junk to the dump, you name it. I then re-trimmed and re-facia'd it with new lumber. All that remains is to paint it, repair a door and line the walls with poly so it's less leaky. I'll post pics when it's done.

Rant: Holy. Fuck. I am sore everywhere. From my shoulder blades to my ass to my groin to my calves...up and down the ladder, hauling lumber and a drill while doing it, is not something I'm used to. I can't imagine how it's going to be tomorrow.

Rave: Hopefully it will look less dangerous and "condemn-y" when I'm done.

I hate myself for even ranting about this, as it's not really a serious problem.

Rant: I'm experiencing complete middle class career boredom syndrome. I'm valued at my company, but I couldn't be any less interested in software development right now, and I only moved here and started the job 4 1/2 months ago. I can't seem to focus on any one thing outside of work enough to consider quitting and trying to make a living doing something else. The paycheck is legitimately the only thing that keeps me showing up and putting in the work.

Slight rave: Currently reading Letters from a Stoic, which is the first stoicism material I've read since Meditations. It's been thoroughly enjoyable. I enjoy Seneca's perspective, considering his sustained wealth and status.

Rant: How the fuck do guys put up with that special breed of ultra-bitchy, emotionally manipulative girls? The kind of girl who will insult the shit out of you and then make it your fault, because you're the asshole? And then when you call them out on their bullshit, they fucking CRY.

At least when guys are douchebag manipulative bitches, they don't cry.

I swear if I was not moving out in a week, I would murder my sister in her sleep.

I just completely misread a situation and possibly ruined a friendship because of it. This just proves what everyone has always said about guys and girls being friends: Not possible without the guy trying to seize a moment to hook up.

Rave: Nice, easy job in Silicon Valley seems to be within my beck and call
Rant: I'm considering taking it because I moved out here without friends and am a bit lonely
Rave: If that is the majority of my problems, life is pretty fuckin' sweet.

RANT: Seriously considering putting in a bed at the office.

RANTY RANT: I would need to find a piece of floor not covered with current paperwork in order to do the above.

Rave: Finishing my blondeing process today, going from black to platinum is a challenge and must be done in stages unless you are cutting all of your hair off. My hair is holding up well...

Rant/Rave?: Mr. P is helping me trim and bleach my hair today. Awesome that he will help me. Is it wise to give him shears? I will know soon enough...

Rave: Mr. P scored a badass job making custom handrails with an old friend. It's working wonders for his mood and confidence. (Before anyone gets all excited about him not having a job, he is disabled, Traumatic brain injury 3 years ago. The docs never thought he would walk again-much less be a body builder.) The job is cash, under the table and working with someone he worked with for years before the injury. This makes me happier than anything, giving my miracle man purpose again.

RAVE: Truly it is the little things in life. I've been building an electronic firing panel so that I can shoot my fireworks show electronically this year and it is coming out great. I just tested one of my home made igniters, the very first one I've ever made, and it worked perfectly on the first try. Nothing makes me happier than blowing shit up, or potentially blowing shit up. I missed my calling I think.

RANT: It's way too fucking hot to put the finishing touches on my fence, or do any kind of yard work. It's only the end of May and it's 92 degrees out! Ah, I'm supposed to be working anyway.

Rant: So, my vibrator decided to get stuck on just one speed.

Rave: At least it's a high speed.

Rave: Gives me an excuse to buy the new one I've been wanting for a while.

Rant: Awesome, looks like Central Oklahoma is next in line for nasty tornadoes. Of course that means my mother has started freaking out and texting me. It's good to be prepared as we have recently seen how bad tornadoes can be, but around here at least the meteorologists on the news always blow things way out of proportion.

Rave Had an interview yesterday...got hired on the spot. Working for a steel manufacturing company Mon-Fri. After months of job searching and shit luck, this is a big confidence boost.

Rave The weather is finally turning for the better, despite these crazy thunderstorm/tornado watches.

Rant "I'm too tired to have sex." I would never say those words...nor should she.

Rant: Getting run off the road while doing 80 because a fat asshole in an Expedition needs to merge into my lane while pounding a Monster and eating a sandwich at the same time. Seriously, dying in a car accident is a pretty big fear for me considering it's such a shitty way to go. "Oh, cool, I'm dead because I was on my way to the fucking post office."

Rant/Rave: Laughing like a madman the remainder of the way to my destination with shaky hands. I have a weird way of dealing with negative things.

We are getting hammered with tornadoes, hail ranging from golfball to baseball sized, and some heavy rain. I hate this time of year.

Biggest Rave of my life: Officially got offered (and accepted) becoming a Customs and Border Patrol Agent! After a process that's taken almost two years I got the job.

Mini-Rant: I have no idea what I'm in for (for the most part). Any tips would be great. Especially since I get sunburned up here in Rochester.
