Rave: My nose hair trimmer finally arrived in the mail.

Rant: I own a nose hair trimmer.

Rave: I went to the allergist today for testing. It was pretty cool to see.

Rant: Out of 14 scratches, I tested positive for 13. The 1 negative was the control. The worst were cats (oh they do something awful to me), dogs, dust and mold. Also, I look like a heroin addict now.

RANT Fuck you Lebron James. I was born and raised in Cleveland. I am a diehard Cavs, Indians and Browns fan. I always will be. No one player will ever make me like or dislike my teams. Whether Lebron stays or goes, I'll still root for them.

I now officially don't give a shit whether he stays or goes. A 1 hour special on ESPN to announce his decision. Fuck you. That is some stupid egotistical bullshit. It's the debacle that is this offseason that is making the NBA, in my opinion, a joke. Baseball is already broken and it looks like basketball isn't far behind.

And Chris Bosh, fuck you too if the reports are true that you absolutely refuse to play in Cleveland. Yeah, I know, it's a dying city that's on hard times. You know what, if you came and they won a championship, you'd be a GOD. Lebron can't do it on his own. Everybody would know it took you coming to do it. Hell, you'd probably win a whole shitload of them. That leads to a lot of money and the god damned HOF. Just like Pippen. But it seems no, you want to play with Lebron, but only in Chicago or NJ(really???) or with Wade in Miami. Nobody cares about basketball in Miami. When they won, yeah, a little bit, but it was fleeting.

You will have better clubs in those towns, I agree. But, you'll only be playing 41 games a year in Cleveland and can offseason anywhere. You'll still be making 125 million, this contract. You team up with Lebron in Cleveland with an owner who will spend and spend and spend and a town that is so winning craved, you'll end up with so much more in the end. I hope all the reports aren't true and you'd be willing to come to Cleveland. Is he even worth a max contract. I'm slightly on the fence. As a one man show, no. As a true star sidekick, he could be worth it. Not sure.

I'm so frustrated with this circus. I know Tim Duncan was very close to leaving back in the day, but he at least handled the whole thing with grace. Even Kobe, when he almost left the Lakers didn't have this crazy shit show.

I hate being a Cleveland sports fan. I've suffered through all my 32 years on this planet and it just doesn't ever get any easier. I'd jump ship and bandwagon a good town or team if I didn't loathe people who did that.

RANT: Ever try painting a living room with a cat with serious dependency issues hanging around?
RAVE: Painted a cat (although it did all the work rubbing on the walls and jumping on the sills).
RAVE: Going back to New York for the first time in over four years, to see friends I've seen maybe four times in the last ten years, yet have remained close with.
MEGA MOTHER FUCKIN' CURB STOMPIN' RAVE:
Besides the visit, the main purpose of this trip is to see God damn Mike Ness and Social Distortion! Just booked the flight and the tickets. So far in 2010 I have seen Floggin Molly, Dropkick Murphys and for the hat trick Social D.

RAVE: 2.5" tenderloin, BBQ'd with awesome fresh prawns and grilled asparagus. Topped off with a killer bottle of Aussie Shiraz (a nice 2004 E&E Black Pepper, if you care).

RAVE: Hanging out on the dock, enjoying the hot weather and sunset, with the last glass of that Shiraz, and the laptop.

RAVIEST: Booked a 14 day Scottish vacation today with my folks. Leave in a month. We get to stay at our family castle for a few of the days. I've always wanted to visit my familial homeland, and am SOOO looking forward to it.

    Rave:

Had an absolutely amazing weekend. Went up to my buddies cabin near 70 Mile House up in the BC interior. About 20 of us doing nothing but drinking and hanging out at the lake and/or campfire. I surprisingly didn't get all that drunk, despite the fact that I didn't go more than 5 minutes without a beer in my hand. I just casually sipped on 'em and only had about a case or so a day. It was kind of nice though since last year my hangovers destroyed half of my days.

Many beers were consumed. Many farts were lit on fire. Many memories were made.

Good times were had by all.

The following pictures and video sum up the weekend rather nicely I think

Rave:I have never lived with two chicks before, but boy I tell you there is something going on with my sex drive.

I don't know if it is the hormones relating to some territorial thing, or just having double the amounts of pretty smelling females, but I pretty much am ready to go at any second of the day now. It is like being 16 again.

RAVE Players like Kevin Durant. Now that is class. With all the BS surrounding the circus that Lebron has created, this guy just does something that nobody will probably even talk about.

His contract is up next year. Does he make it know that he's going to shop around. Get all the teams going crazy. Nope. Does he sign a 3 year deal to keep his options open and handicap his team so players are hesitant to come there. Nope. What does he do?

He signs a 5 year extension. Smart move. Will get a huge huge amount of dough and can support his family forever. Rewards the team that has been doing well by him. Now that team is free to keep making moves around him to continue to build a winner.

He is what they all should strive to be like. He's getting his. Just like everybody else. But, he seems more about playing the game of basketball.

Thank you Kevin Durant for restoring a little bit of my faith.

Ditto. Always liked the guy, doesn't hurt he's from UT.

Rave: NBA free agency in general. This is insane, angering, and hilarious. Lebron makes makes me want to stab him in the eye with a fork, Cleveland makes me want to go give a Cavs fan a hug, Chris Bosh I believe may be gay (spoiler: he's going to Miami to suck off wade), shitty role players are getting huge contracts, and Richard Jefferson just opted out of a shit load of guaranteed cash.

Rant/Rave: Put my money where my mouth is: if LeBron goes to NJ, I get a bottle of top-shelf vodka. If he goes anywhere else, I owe someone a six pack.

Rave: Going to look at new cars today. Anyone that has an opinion/recommendation on large SUVs, let me know.

Moral of this post? FUCK LEBRON!!! And ESPN for allowing this college-selection-style sideshow... at least it's going to a good cause I guess.

Rave: LeBron James is roughly one day away from departing from Cleveland.

I fucking hate the city of Cleveland. It is a cespool of crime, corruption and depression. I have friends that live in the city and I absolutely refuse to visit them. The sports teams all blow and the people are even worse. Seriosuly, Celeveland people are some of the most bitter people I have ever met. But I guess I would be too if I lived there.

I've lived in Ohio all of my life. Before LeBron James no one fucking cared about Cavs. No one even knew they were a fucking team. Before he came around, I had never even seen a Cavs jersey. Your football team is named after a shit (and play like it oddly enough). Seriosuly, what the fuck else is a Brown? Art Model did the city a huge favor when he moved the team out. LeBron is about to do the city an even larger favor. Why in the Hell can't people just let the city die?

There is nothing better than seeing a Cleveland fan in pain. The guy above me cracks me up. He loves the shittiest place on earth, and is too stupid to just jump ship. Wah Wah Wah, LeBron doesn't want to stay here and neither does Bosch. Probably because they have been to the city and know how bad it is. The nicest restaurant is a Red Lobster. The weather is terrible 9 months out of the year. Who could blame them for not wanting to live there from September to June/July every year? For the love of God, the polution is so bad a river once caught on fire. WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO LIVE THERE?

I really hope this is step number one in letting the city die. After LeBron leaves no one will care about the Cavs. Hopefully the team leaves town shortly after the fans stop showing up to the games. With any luck the Browns and Indians will follow suit.

Nah Nah Nah Nahhh, Nah Nah Nah Nahhh, Hey Hey Hey, Goodbye

Rave- Lebron is going to the Nets, I'd bet my left nut.

When you have Jay-Z telling you he's going to make you a billionaire, why not?

You think he's going to Chicago to play in Jordan's shadow?

Or that he owes the Cavs the slightest amount of loyalty? They're lucky they had him for this long.
