    Rave:

Had our hockey awards banquet last night. I hosted the event and got a ton of free drinks out of the deal. I didn't get 'blasted' but I sure got a good buzz on.

    Rant:

Against my better judgement, I went to the casino with some of the guys afterwards and ended up losing $140. I lost 60 quickly on the roulette table, but then won some of it back playing black-jack. My alcohol-induced brain pursuaded me to give roulette another go, and I left with an empty wallet.

    Rave:

Team Canada's Women are 45 seconds away from a Gold Medal in Women's Hockey!

    Rave: Women's hockey gold, baby.

Rave: Despite a shitty performance against the US on Sunday, we will be winning the men's hockey gold too. See you Sunday, USA, after we run through Slovakia.

RANT: Thank you, gay Catholic priests who like to touch little boys. Because of your compulsion, my fellow colleagues who have dedicated their lives to my school (and me too) are going to lose their pensions due to the diocese paying damages to all the law suits. The pensions are now tied up in the lawsuits and bankruptcy filings...how Christian of them. And shame on you, too, Catholic church for shuffling these priests around instead of dealing with the problem only serving to compound it. Of course the pension news all comes in the same meeting where my principal announced that we were starting to go one-track, meaning at least one teacher a year will be fired for the next six years. What a lovely atmosphere to work in right now.

RAVE: Taking the day off tomorrow to put together my resume and get the fuck out of there. I am so excited that I can look at a bunch of job postings, read their qualifications and think, "yeah, I can do that." Finally!!!

RAVE: The people on this board who offer great advice and insight. You people are awesome.

RAVE: Going out with my best guy friends on Saturday night for the Syracuse-Nova game. I keep trying to remind them of what happened the last time they talked trash to me and rooted for a Philly team against one from New York. I'm actually cool with whatever happens...damn this basketball season has been amazing. Let the Madness of March begin!!! Rack of the GM and carbombs...Chirpy's celebrating!

Rant:I think I have a canker sore on the back of my throat. Is that even possible?

Rave:Angela came over tonight. I got a nice breathy thank you as a result of all the hard work I put in.

Rave:After one of the most embarrasing moments in my life I finally got that fucking monkey off my back. Kinda feels like a dream.

RAVE: Not giving a fuck. It makes life and all her little problems so much easier to deal with.

RANT: Not giving a fuck. It makes accomplishing things extremely difficult.

RAVE: I don't give a fuck about accomplishing things at the moment.

RAVE: Awesome date last night. Really sweet chick, and not a complete whore. That's a nice change of pace for me. Best part, she picked a bar that had $10 all you can drink night. Bester part, her idea of a date is simply going out to the bar for a few hours. Bestest part, it's obvious that she is really into me. I can pretty much move things along at whatever pace I want. Sorry ladies, you now have competition.

RANT: The countdown to when I manage to fuck this all up has now begun.

RANT: The toytoy shit. What the fuck?! I'm legitimately worried about a guy I've never met.

Rant/Rave: My new housemate offered me a blowjob within 24 hours of moving in, and told me how much she wants to fuck me. Nobody ever wants to fuck me, so this is a nice change of pace.

    Rant: She's huuuuuuuuge!

    Don't Know

The roads in my neck of the woods are fine, it hasn't snowed enough lately to make driving hazardous at all. In fact, today felt like completely normal driving conditions, like driving around during the summer, only cold as shit. So imagine my surprise as a crested a hill on a country road and found an inch of ice and snow ahead of me as far as I could see. I was speeding, so I tried to brake and ended up somehow straddling a ditch. Had I gone into the ditch face first, I'd be dead. Had I rolled into it, I'd be mangled. As it is, I'm just cold and shaky. Two other cars went into the ditch behind me. One came to rest about 6 inches from my car. The other had a really cute girl in it.

Don't know how or why, but I completely took control and made sure everyone was safe and away from their cars in case more cars came.

My only regret is not getting the girl's number. The cop even told me to. Maybe if I call him and ask him for it?

    Rant?:

Strangely enough, last night while you guys were posting about him being MIA, I was at the bar getting birthday-drunk with Gris and Ben Corman, talking about what a bunch of loser-cunts most of you are (seriously - they met you on the movie tour and according to them, you people suck. I trust their judgement because they rock) and I mentioned that toytoy88 had disappeared.

Seeing his last post has me worried as well, so I've emailed him at his personal email addy. I had his phone number in my inbox on the old board, which does me not a lick of good now unfortunately.

I'll report back if and when I hear from him.

RAVE: Saw [hot running girl] earlier this morning on a run when I was going out to class, ran into her in the library and turns out she's really nice.
RAVE: She's also no longer [hrg] to me, she apparently has a name. She's still [hrg] to you guys though!
RAVE: Also turns out she has a phone number to give out.
RAVE: It ALSO turns out that she likes running dates, yeah I went there...that's what we call a memorable date.
RAVE: For doing all of this in like 2 minutes, that's what we call putting on a clinic folks.

Rave: These Olympics have absolutely rocked my world. The spirit and Canadian pride in every bar or public gathering is unprecedented in my experience.

Rant: They are soon ending and that makes me sad. Life is about to get mundane.

    .

Rave: Sensitive Sally's that can't take a little good-natured ribbing are always good for a giggle. Too close to home? It seems that there may be some truth to the boys' statement after all. P.S. If by being a single, adult woman who likes sober, planned and responsible sex means I'm loose, then I guess I'm loose, but certainly not a cunt. I'm actually quite nice, thank you.

Rave: I have a big oval driveway in front of my house with a large parking area at the back of it. With all the snow piled up nice and high on the sides and some really nice ice covered with slush I've been rallying the shit out of my car this morning. Slapping the e-brake just as I hit the back turn and sliding perfectly around. Drifting is fun. Only over rotated once.

Rant: Celtics. What the fuck. They're allergic to scoring points in the 3rd quarter. Yuck.

Rave: Good Mexican food for dinner.

    RAVE: Got first post-college job.

RANT: First post-college job is selling photocopiers.

RAVE: The job comes with paid training in a nicer city than the one I currently call home.

RAVE: I got a free yogurt.

    RANT: The yogurt is haunted.

RAVE: It came with free choice of topping.

RANT: The topping had potassium benzoate. Fuck.

Rave: Second that. Here is one I got last week for my post on Lotto scratchers in the Horrifying Statistics thread.

Apparently you're not familiar with these things called stores and/or patience. Typically customers will go in, choose a product and buy it. Depending on when you walk inside you may need to patiently wait until the customer ahead of you is finished. The financial ruin thing is absurd (which I'm pretty sure you know but just said it for exaggerated effect anyway). I wouldn't call my around ten dollar a month scratch off habit "financial ruin". Is everyone who drinks an alcoholic? Exactly.

Flick...................................and flick. That's one flick for each of your bitch tits.
Now that your thoroughly titillated, why don't you lock yourself back in the closet and scratch off something that is actually redeemable, like an orgasm from your oversensitive snatch?

My good natured response to this seemingly heterosexual male even came back with red dots.

    Sensitive Sally indeed! HaHa!

Rave: The Olympics. I have never been brought to tears as much as I have been watching the recaps of some of these performances. Every time I see Joannie Rochette my eyes tear up. I can't even imagine the emotions she's going through right now or how she gathered up the strength to compete. Amazing. And it's not like I can even control it, the tears just come.

Rant: Julia Mancuso. I do not like her. Something about her irritates the hell out of me. Not like I know her or anything, just the impression I get.

Rave: Because I made the trek to work today in the snow, I get an extra vacation day for the year. Yayy.

RANT I got an emergency double root canal.

RAVE I got some vicodin with it, but it still was nowhere worth it, hardly a rave.

Rant: I usually love the snow, but it's been snowing steady for the past hour or so and I plan on going to the bar tonight. If you're a girl, you know that heels + snow = disaster. Meaning this white fluffy stuff needs to stop falling, now.

Rave: 2010 Olympic games for Xbox. I highly recommend this game. What I don't highly recommend is playing against me, because I kick ass at it.

Rave New girl is awesome. Didn't think there would be that many cool chicks in this desolate town, but one works for now
Rant Remember how there were a lot less e-bitchslaps on the rant/rave thread when people remembered how to use the PM and rep buttons? Me neither. Mods? Help?
