    I'm putting together furniture this evening, so I may be in need of a toddy or two. Then, its football and deer camp the rest of the weekend, sooooooo.... Yay!

    Boss Free Friday. I met a friend and had 3 screwdrivers and a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. I'm way a head of the game. Now I sit here with warm rosy cheeks wondering why I'm not at home. Work blows.

    Getting started extra earlier this weekend, huh?

    Good news is that its been a good two weeks since my Halloween in Stillwater, throwing up on the side of I-35 debacle, so I should be in good shape for some heavy drinking.

    Well, let's make at least one thing clear before I cripple myself with alcohol. As BlueDog lives North of the Lake he is not Cajun. Coonass, perhaps, but not Cajun. Most true Cajuns firmly believe that anyone who lives North of I-10 is a Yankee.

    And the kids are in bed, the wife is out, I have a bottle of whiskey, and hopefully BlueDog will come on here and call me a Chalmatian in an oft-repeated joke none of you will understand.

    I'm with you though, I don't know how many times I've said that I'm not Cajun, but you know how it is. Louisiana=Cajun. They are one in the same to most people. Hell, I lived with real Cajuns from Ville Platte and Eunice in college, and those motherfuckers are insane. To be fair though, there is a house in Nola named after my family on Esplanade. We weren't Northshorians until my grandfather moved up here back in the day.

    I was actually going to take it easy tonight because I have a big day tomorrow, but the funiture I got had broken pieces, so I made up for it by drinking a bottle of wine.

    Oh, hello Vodka! Whiskey is out of town at the moment at the hunting camp waiting for me to come see her, so what brings you here? Oh wait, stop! Its inappropriate what you are doing! I can't cheat of Whiskey! That does feel good though...

    If that vodka happens to be Grey Goose, I may have to hunt you down. Grey Goose is the ultimate in marketing bullshit that managed to snow an entire population into believing it is the best thing in the world simply because it was so expensive. The guy that invented it is also responsible for importing Jagermeister to this country.

    Having once thrown up a viscous black paste as a result of Jagermeister that man can never be forgiven.

    Also it's French.

    At 11:30 am today, we had a meeting at work. We're all being cut back to 4 days a week, and the only person I trusted enough around that place to call a friend, got laid off. I'm currently contemplating my future, drinking beer #6, and waiting for Flashpoint to come on at 10. Maybe it's time to go see that recruiter next week.
