Surviving, thus far, a pandemic and getting my second dose of vaccine has raised some new possibilities.
I can't see 70-80% of people getting vaccinated. We aren't going back to "normal" unless that happens. I have serious hermit like tendencies so screw it I guess.
Is that factoring in how many of these idiots just keep refusing the vaccines then eventually get the antibodies naturally? Or die. At a certain point it won’t have any more bodies to burn through? by this time next year I can see us getting back to somewhat more normal. I’ll probably take my boys to the rodeo if it’s deemed safe. I just can’t see this lasting forever, beyond what I think are likely annual booster vaccines
We don't get sterilizing immunity to Coronaviruses, so the morons will just keep spreading it around every year. Those of us vaccinated will have better protection, but no vaccine is perfect. I hope I'm wrong. We'll see. I think an annual booster is pretty much guaranteed.
I wonder how many of the anti covid vaccine people get flu shots every year. If they roll in a covid booster into the annual flu shot, it would benefit everyone. As it is right now, the main issue people have with the covid vaccine is political partisanship. The republicans have done a tremendous disservice to the country. Flu shots aren’t typically viewed as political. But these are? These fucking morons have the audacity with their middle school educations to sit back and ponder about the FDA clearance process, like they actually know something about it. The unearned arrogance they display questioning people who spent more than a decade of their lives merely training to become doctors and then many more years after that in practice is rich. I’m sure their Facebook research and meme-sharing is the same as an MD and a phd. The other funny part is they want to give Trump credit for vaccines but they also won’t take them. What’s it gonna be?

I walked in expecting something a little different myself. Doesn't anyone want to go Netts way? That brings up a question, what about the strippers? Have they been able to work? Doesn't anyone care? I am all about curbside, delivery or anything like that I can do to stay away from the masses for the long haul. I don't think things aren't going to change any time soon. People get a sense of false hope, now the weather is turning, and we are back where we were months ago. Also, the long term effect this will have on the kids is concerning to say the least.
