I like The Wizard myself. This movie will suck. And I will love it because I for some reason like bad movies. See the Wizard.
That movie sucked because it tried to make itself a legitimate movie based around video game characters, whereas the first one went so far into the realm of campiness and didn't take itself at all seriously that it was one of those "it's so bad that it's actually good" movies.
Rampage was good. Lol, that movie was soooo terrible. I only watched it on DVD because they filmed a scene from over my house. All. Night. Long. Explosions and gunfire going off. Planes and helicopters flying. The scene was like 10 seconds long in the final cut.
With all these movies coming out where celebrities are “digitally de-aged” and playing themselves, it makes me wonder if Jeff Bridges would have looked more realistic in Tron: Legacy, if it were made a few years later. Or is it just that Samuel L. Jackson and Will Smith still look exactly the same, that it works perfectly for them?
I bet there’s gonna be a scene where he hits one of those spring- buttons, goes through a loop-de-loop, then runs right into some spikes and we all yell “FUCK!!”
I think it has a worse reputation that it deserves, because it’s the biggest box office bomb of all time. The production is amazing and there are FAR worse big budget flicks out there. Heck, I thought “Meet Dave” was kind of funny. Especially in the early stages of making the robot operate. The movie I’m most ashamed of finding funny is “Little Nicky”. It’s also annoying but it has moments in it that had my buddy and me crying the first time we rented it. The part involving covering Henry Winkler with bees gave us cardiac arrest.
I also find Little Nicky legitimately funny. The scene where Hitler has to get a pineapple shoved up his ass gets me good.
