Anyone have any suggestions for a Twitter application for Windows?

Specifically, I want to be able to work on stuff and then be notified when someone posts something to their feed.

I'm not worried about MAKING the twats, or tweets, or whatever the hell they're called... just being notified when they have been made.

    Thanks!

    I use Spaz for that purpose and it works fine - <a class="postlink" href="http://getspaz.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://getspaz.com/</a>

Twitter has it's own embeddable widget for searching tweets (the search options can be found here). It most likely doesn't suit your needs, but I think it warrants a link here.

Anyone know of a CD-ROM emulator that works with the latest version of iTunes? I've got a few songs I want to convert to mp3 but I don't want to burn up a lot of cd-r's.

Can't you just convert the files to MP3 and then add them to iTunes? I use this, though I have an older version than the one displayed. You'd also need to download the LAME encoder for use with Free Audio Converter.

Explain to me again what you're trying to do? It's not making any sense to me.

I have no idea what you mean by an "emulator".

Disclaimer: I have never bought a song from iTunes.

I think he means that he bought some songs from iTunes and rather than use iTunes and an actual CD to burn them and change them from mp4 to mp3, he wants something like Daemon Tools to mount a fake blank and "burn" them. Then he can copy the mp3s from the emulator, reburn, etc.

I've always used Daemon Tools when I needed to mount an .iso or something, but I don't know if you can mount a blank on it. Ditto for Alcohol 120%.

Never did this either, but can you get a single CD-RW, burn some mp3s to it using iTunes, erase the disc, reburn, etc?

    Exactly what John_b said.

Looks like I'll have to hunt down a cd-rw... damn it.

Couldn't you just run the song through Tunebite? Or not buy shit off of Itunes?

Tunebite didn't work. And I don't buy anything off of itunes... any longer. I just wanted to convert over what little music I did have from itunes.

Took me 7 cd-r's to do it but it's now done.

I saw a commercial for some sort of photo editing software that allows you to take multiple pictures and turn it into one picture so everyone looks good.

What I mean is, I just took about 12 pictures of my wife, kids and our new pup Tonka. In one picture, my wife is looking away, but the kids look good. In another, my wife and daughter are looking away. In another, my son is making a face. In another, my daughter looks like she's going to the gallows.

I'd like to find that software so I can make one decent picture out of those. I can't remember the software for the life of me, I just remember that it was totally simple point and click corrections.

Anybody have any ideas? I tried Google, but didn't see it.

Easiest thing to do is to install more memory and put in a solid state drive.
