Savannah, GA All the reasons stated. I want to live there.

Nashville, TN Couple of great areas for nightlive, near Vandy and down on Broadway Ave. Hotel rooms are pretty cheap, city is full of nice people as well.

Charlotte, NC Absolutely love this town, just behind Savannah on my Places to Move to list.

If you really want to have a ball, go to Columbia, MO. You may also know of it as redneck heaven. You can go to Yakov Smirnoff's comedy club. What a hoot.

Not sure how old everybody is, but March/April will put you right in the middle of Spring Break. If that's everybody's thing you could always to the typical Spring Break party spots like Cancun or South Padre Island.

I've never been to either of these places for Spring Break but they look like a whole bunch of fun from what I watch on Campus PD. Especially if you like drunk people & vomit!

More on focus, San Diego is waaay more laidback than LA and there's tons of fun stuff to do. Not sure if it qualifies as underrated but it definitely gets overshadowed by its cousin to the north.

Oh man, you could go to Branson and hang out at the Dolly Parton dinner show!

Missouri sucks. Strip clubs have to close at midnight, you can't touch the strippers, you can't have liquor and they can't be nude.

I live in Savannah now. Great Thursday-Saturday nightlife, amazing food, historic scenery and warm in April. The tourist season will just be picking up, meaning packed bars and random hookups, and if you can get down here for St. Patty's week then fucking drop everything and book it now. The hotels will be close to booked already but the entire week is surreal with drinking, sex and.... open containers allowed. 20 minutes away is Tybee Island, a very underrated beach town with decent beaches but awesome food and people.

I've done about every bar, restaurant and strip club in town at least once so I can give you a point in the right direction. And to comment on a previous post- Uncle Harry's strip club is quantity over quality. Do it after a round of golf and grab a burger but you'll be better suited late night across the river at Temptations (BYOB- coolers are allowed) and the Gold Club (gorgeous girls and you will rub your face in some snatch, guaranteed). Bars close at 3am and strip clubs close at 6am.

    PM me with questions.

Some thoughts, if you're heading south:
    • Most areas in Florida follow the "no full nudity & full liquor" as far as titty bars go. It's a terrible, puritan abuse of legislative power.
    • Orlando, from my experience, has terrible strip clubs with average girls
    • Tampa has a few gems, but again, most follow the ridiculous law
    • Atlanta has some pretty good clubs, including Masters and Pink Pony.

I believe the age range is from 25-32. If we run into spring breakers that is fine, but we aren't going to book our trip to Cancun either.

Savannah - Completely forgot about Savannah. I was there for about 8 hours last year and absolutely fell in love with it. We had a wedding in Hilton Head and took a day trip to Savannah and I was completely blown away. We spent half our time in a dive bar called Lincoln's. We then explored River St, the downtown area, and capped the night off with a horse drawn carriage tour of the city. We were absolutely shitfaced and ruined it for the other people in the carriage.

Coming from Brandon (and chatting with John K Samson last week), I'd disagree. But for someone who's from out of Manitoba, it's a nice town.

For me, Quebec City. It's already a very touristy place, but outside of the touristy downtown old part of the city, there's clubs, pubs, restaurants that dot the entire city, and they're for the most part, amazing. Chez Ashton is one place I tell people they must visit if they ever go there, and get the poutine, especially if they've never tried poutine (or deal with shredded cheese poutine like here in Manitoba). There always seemed to be lots to do there when I stayed there, lots of concerts (mostly local, but they get big acts too), Hot women, Rue Grande Allée, and if you like history - the museums are always great. If you know just a tad of French, you'll be fine.. everyone I met there seem to want to speak English.

Seconded. Went there for spring break last year and had a great time. Try to get to tickets to a Canadians game, the atmosphere there is amazing. St. Catherine St. is the place to be but do some research on strip clubs, they have some of the world's best. Be sure to pick a good one, as I know from personal experience that the shady ones are run by bad dudes who pay off the police and won't hesitate to beat your ass and take your money.

Massively seconded. The Sarasota area is boring as you can possibly get unless you enjoy sitting on the beach with old people and doing nothing all day. Fortunately, all members of my family that live down there share the belief that social drinking begins at breakfast. Doubly so during the holiday season which is normally the only time I head down there.

And god damn Kubla, as bad as Sarasota is, Venice makes it look fun.

Wait. Are we taking Winnipeg as a serious answer? I honestly thought he was being sarcastic. The only good thing to ever come out of Winnipeg was Neil Young, and even he knew to get the fuck out.

I would agree with this and also add Lake Tahoe. Maybe Lake Tahoe isn't underrated, but it doesn't get as much credit as it deserves. The Nevada side is more of the party side while the California side is more of the natural side. You could stay in Lake Tahoe and do a short drive to Reno, as opposed to Vegas. Reno sucks compared to Vegas, but it's something.
edit: I see this been mentioned already. Count me as +1 for Tahoe.

edit2: When I went to Tahoe it wasn't in the winter, it was during the summer months. It was me, a buddy of mine, his girlfriend and mine. It is still fun in the Summer. We went ATVing in Nevada foothills, jet skiing on the lake, para-sailing, a boat tour, horseback riding (gay) and hung out on the beach. The beaches were nothing compared to what I was used to in Florida though. Reno wasn't that bad either. It's nothing like the atmosphere in Vegas, but it was OK. The point is Tahoe fun no matter what time of year. We were all underage, so I can't speak for the bars. But there were casinos and bars everywhere. We had to drink back at the house though.

Savannah GA and Charleston SC are two of the most fun cities to visit. Excellent food, plenty of historic stuff to do, tons of bars and pretty nice college scenes. The only complaint anyone has about Charleston is trying to drive there.

Asheville, NC is a little hippie town up there that has a thriving gay/lesbian community. This is important because it makes the town very liberal, so there is a lot of good bars, food and quaint shit to do. Not far from good hiking and outdoorsy-stuff.

Athens, GA is my home away from home. Seriously, this is THE college town, but it has a nice scene, nice people and is comparable to Austin TX. Good women, good bars, awesome food and none of it too expensive or pretentious.

Austin, Texas makes my list because I'm a blues fan and I made the journey out there to see some friends at UT. Awesome time. A line of bars farther than the whiskey-addled eye can see, beautiful women and one of the best music scenes in the country.

Destin, FL. This should be the default vacation spot in Florida. All of the good, none of the vapidity and herpes associated with most of the rest of the state.

Anti-focus: Myrtle Beach, SC. I have long tiraded against this genital wart of a town. The city and the police there are not tolerant of any nonsense, and in 6 straight years of going there for bike week and one senior trip in high school, we came home with stupid ass fines, traffic violations and cars towed at least once per trip. It's the only place I have ever seen motorcycles being pulled over. The locals there are not fun people, good food is difficult to find, the beaches are crowded and the clubs are atrocious. No history, not really any good fishing, the best music they can offer is the God-forsaken House of Blues. The place basically got hijacked by a bunch of people who don't know how to act, so they enforce dress codes at bars and clubs, make you sign your life away to rent a hotel room, and are generally just not a welcoming bunch. Seriously, take the extra 2 hours and go to Charleston.

I have never been to Savannah but I will second Charleston, SC also. Lowcountry cuisine is some of the best ever.

I also like Portland, OR but it's kind of generic.

I've lived in Athens and Asheville and spent a lot of time in Savannah, and I can't neg any of them. Athens is the ultimate college town and Savannah is the ultimate broken-down easygoing Southern beach town. Asheville, in particular, is beautiful, friendly and lively (particularly if you're just visiting) and way off the beaten bachelor party circuit. I don't condone drunk driving, but if you're going to do it, you may as well do it on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Even closer is Cincinnati, which everyone seems to hate except for me. Maybe I got lucky, but the motherfuckers I met there could throw down.

There's always the Wisconsin Dells, if you must, but don't fuck anything there through fewer than 10 rubbers.

I will second Portland Oregon. The Downtown has many great Brewpubs and places with live music. Oregon in general is a good state for strip bars. For me the best part is Portland has a Municiple owned road course in Portland International Raceway. Plus there is always the chance you might run into Roxanne, which might be reason enough to give it a shot.

I will give a shout to Sacramento. There is Old Sacramento which is a pretty nice bar, entertainment area. You have NBA basketball in the winter with the Kings and triple A baseball in the spring, summer with the rivercats. There is plenty of biking and running trails along with the Sacramento and American rivers for all the water sports you might desire.

I have always enjoyed Colorado Springs. I have told many persons that it is a combination military, college and tourist city. It has something for everyone and a great drive or hike to the top of Pikes Peak which everyone should have on their bucket list.

The best clubs in Montreal are on St. Laurent in the Mile End district. My "best clubs" I don't mean opulent bottle service, but if you want to fingerbang a McGill or Concordia student, this is your deal.

For a bachelor party, I'd skip Colorado Springs. The city itself is the conservative christian capital of the world, YoungLife, Focus on the Family, and other church-y organizations are headquartered there. If you want to do the traditional bachelor party things of strip clubs, bar hopping, and avoiding getting your ass stomped by guys in the military, you're best off skipping Colorado Springs.

Now, if you're looking to do more than strip clubs and bar hopping, Denver could be a pretty cool place. If you get a limo bus or some sort of driver service, you could head up to Fort Collins and go brewery tour hopping. There's a ton of great breweries, including New Belgium, Anheuser, and O'Dell, among several others. Closer to Denver is the Coors brewery in Golden, and in Denver is Breckenridge Brewery, Wynkoop, and Great Divide. Its always fun to sample new beers and see the process, and get jealous of the the people whose job is brewing and tasting beer. Plus there's a pretty nice bar district for bar hopping just a block or so from Coors Field. The weather is pretty unpredictable, especially in March and April, because it could be snowing and cold or in the 70s and sunny. But as a betting man, I'd go with the latter. Additionally, there's the ski resorts an hour and a half away, and that's always a nice way to spend a day.

Now, it seems like you're looking to do the traditional bachelor party things, and to me, the best city for that would be Austin, TX. Good weather, hot ass UT girls, and awesome bars. Plus you can indulge in some great food. I haven't been to any myself, but I hear the strip clubs are good too.
