    I keep threatening to jump ship for this very reason. I can't wrap my mind around the amount of vacation time/holidays that seemingly EVERY OTHER COUNTRY seems to have.

    We get a holiday for the Queen's birthday as well. The start of the year has a good number of long weekends.

    When's Obama's birthday? I am going to request the day off for that very reason simply to piss off my Republican co-workers.

    I guess it isn't really the same considering I would have to use one of my scarce vacation days in order to have a fake birthday party.

    My brain is still reeling and about to explode from the very frustrating 2-hour lab I spent with my partner. I pretty much spent the entire time arguing with her about whether or not it makes sense to move the plumb line as you move joint to joint through postural analysis and other such nonsense. What's the fucking point of having a reference/control if you change it 10 times? How can you get this far in life with absolutely no logic or common sense? I need a drink or three. Why do people have off so many days for Easter? I don't remember having Fri or Mon off. We get out of class early tomorrow, which is cool, but I'd love to have a 3 or 4 day weekend. Bah.

    Just a nap. When you fall asleep for a few hours at a time that isn't your usual bedtime, it's a nap. When else would you take a nap, besides late morning/mid afternoon?
