I went to Roller Derby the other night. I also found that I want to slap annoying people when I am sober. This little sprite bounced around in front of me repeatedly all night and it was all I could do to keep from pushing him over the railing.
What's that you may ask, well, that's a yacht, a yacht so awesome it has it's own wikipedia page, it's called the Maltese Falcon. I snapped these pictures this morning with my cell phone. and from a distance
Over 5" of rain this weekend + lots of melting snow = some terrific rapids. This "stream" usually runs about a foot deep and 3 feet across. Very happy I live upstream from this. If it completely fills the gap under the bridge the road will definitely flood.
Rock on Niagara Falls my friend just send over some pictures from our Ontario trip last summer to entice me to visit sooner then later.
Had courtside seats last night for the Spurs-Warriors game. Nothing like watching the game at their level. Unfortunately, Stephon Curry didn't suit out due to a sprained ankle, but that didn't stop him from checking out all the San Antonio women around him...
This one's for Toytoy. Caught this little jackass in my garbage can. After he scared the shit out of me, I dropped the lid and it got him stuck. Anyone have any good squirrel recipe's?
Best picture I've ever taken. Sunset on the Indian Ocean from the flight deck of DDG 69 USS Milius... I miss the fucking ocean.
I wasn't sure where to post this because it doesn't fall exactly under any heading (it's not a rant, rave or link - it has to do with video games but not really) so I'm putting it here. My kids dug a Nintendo Power magazine from December 2004 out of a box in my house somewhere. I figured I would flip through it and see what's changed in 5 years. One of the first ads in the magazine was this: Spooky.
I present to you the best picture I have ever taken. As an added bragging right, it was taken from the back of a moving camel, so yay me: In the desert in Morocco, on our way to a Bedouin camp.
My cat had kittens last night. She was a stray when we took her in, we found out a few weeks later that she was carrying passengers. Here she is with her two kittens: And here they are cuddling:
My cousin that died and had to be brought back among the vertical a few days prior: Spoiler I've never met her, but her kids are like my own children. I'm kind of pissed at her for abandoning the kids and leaving me and my aunt to raise them. But to each their own... I'm going to have to hop in my truck and drive down to meet her before she goes away again. It might be permanent next time. (They're keeping her heavily sedated and in a medicinally induced coma because every time she wakes up she cusses like a drunken sailor and fights like a prize winning bass that's just been hooked. My family may be a bunch of assholes, but we have a lot of fight programmed into our DNA. ) There, but for the grace of God, go I. She and I are the same age. SG EDIT: Dude I don't know why you want to share that with us. You said you've never even met her. What I do know is I don't want to click and scroll down to see someone near death, hooked up to tubes and such. Overshare man. No thanks.
