This truly was a kodak moment when I saw this place in Corning, NY Corning glass is made in this town, as well as the museum of glass, hence the name.
This is purely coincidence, but two seasons of House lying right next to an empty bottle of vicodin in my backseat. I threw the seasons back there after a friend gave them back to me, and there happened to be an empty bottle there from a couple months ago when I had surgery.
I recently returned from my second annual catfishing trip in Missouri/Oklahoma. My uncle was a little drunk and decided to make out with a fish. He said it wasn't any different than going down on his ex wife.
My fraternity held our Homecoming formal at the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame for the 25th anniversary of our rechartering. Combine beer, a die-hard Packer fan, and the following shrine to Brett Favre (obviously posted before his un-retirement and subsequent Fuck You to all of Wisconsin), and you don't get happy emotions.
Leaving a friend's place last night, I was nearly killed. I was walking out to the sidewalk from the apartment building, and there were 3 raccoons sitting in a tree ready to leap onto me and tear me to shreds. One of them "screeched" at me, which scared the shit out of me, which then scared the shit out of them, which scared me even more. When all was settled down, they realized that I was no threat, and maybe had some food for them. (It's obvious that some people in the area are feeding them, as they started following me around begging for food). Quite an exciting end to the evening. And let's just say that the BlackBerry nighttime photo capabilities aren't going to get me published in National Geographic any time soon.
On a C.D. rack at my local taco shop. Yeah, that's the Seinfeld Bee next a nice, fat ass. No, I have no idea why he's there.
This picture is not mine. A friend from another board took this. It is from Pearl Jam's closing set of the last show ever at the Spectrum in Philly. If you're feeling a little nostalgic about the Spectrum, here is a nice montage...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdX39Z7siMU&feature=player_embedded
Went to Boston this weekend and went on one of the Duck Tours. It was actually pretty interesting. While we were on it the guide pointed out a section of the Berlin wall the some guy had for some reason I can't remember. I thought it was topical since it came down 20 years ago, today.
Couple more from the trip. I went to take an Insurance billing class and the guy that was hosting collected classic cars. This is just in one of his garages. The Machine is my favorite.
This weekend, I stayed in a very nice apartment with a very nice view that is worth more than my life. It has forced me to re-evaluate the brash assumption that money does not buy happiness.
So my wife decides she wants to start running and does a 10k on Sunday, instead of taking pics of here accomplishing her goals I was 100% focused on the fat belly dancers.
