New Radio Show Starring Philalawyer, Donika and Dr. Rob

As suggested by the title, PL, Donika and I will be hosting our own show on BlogTalkRadio beginning March 24 at 8 PM (unless we run into weird technical problems, then it will be pushed back). We welcome your comments, suggestions and questions here or at our sites and hope you'll tune in. More info will be available at ShrinkTalk.Net and Philalawyer.Net as the start date gets closer.

 

I'd like to hear a discourse on narratives. Philalawyer mentions them frequently enough, so I'd like to hear a proper discussion on the topic.

 

Sounds good. I'm eager to hear what Philalawyer sounds like, not to mention the insights into the industry and pop culture from a couple of people I really respect for their views.

Yes. Generally follows a Stern model. Talk, some calls and guest.

But no specific theme beyond that, which I guess is really more of a structure. Just a talk show.

Though the "narrative" issue someone else raised here (apologies on not recalling who) is definitely going to be a subject. Great idea.

Sorry about that, yes 8PM Eastern. As far as I know, Donika is not keeping a blog. Setting up all the technical aspects of the show, not to mention dealing with PL and me, is unbearably annoying and time-consuming.

 

Please, you guys are delightful, if completely different people. Mostly I'm quiet because the show prep and my real job keep me busy, and I have anxiety about doing anything in public. So I can only really afford to speak on this show and on Twitter (/donikamiller) before having a panic attack. I'll post a link to the show later this week when we finalize details. You'll be able to call in and discuss, um, stuff (that's the best description we have of what's it's about so far), IF you can get by my scary screening.

 

Is Donika gonna' be like Robin on Howard Stern, but hotter?

Is Dr. Rob gonna' be like Fred, but smarter and more insightful?

Or is Phila gonna' be like Fred, only uh....., deeper and more and articulate?

 

We are going to rotate the "Howard" role (do the intro/outro, conduct the interview, etc.). Other than that it's a basketball mentality: the hot hand gets the rock.

 

My apologies if this is a retarded question answered elsewhere, but will there be a podcast available after the live show goes down? I'll try to tune in, but I'd assume some site called blogtalkradio or whatever would be inclined towards making shows available afterwards (but ya never know.)

 

Yes, they will ultimately be available for podcasts, and will be archived on both ShrinkTalk.Net and Philalawyer.net as well. I have a page dedicated to the show on my site and I believe PL is working on his right now. Check those out for more info.
