    Damn. My mother got me these wine classes for christmas and they're fucking huge; practically brandy snifters. It's causing me to drink way more than I'm realising because I end up pouring more wine into the glass than I think.

    If that training methodology works so well on hapless 19-year-olds, I cannot fathom why we don't use it starting in Kindergarten.

    Best memory I have of boot camp is when we were sitting there studying the "Knowledge" book for the first written test. Some kid fell asleep, and one of the DIs sneaked up on him and screamed into his ear, "LEARN THE KNOWLEDGE! LEARN IT! LEAAAAAAARRNN! LEAAAAARRNN! LEARN FASTER!"

    I need to see him teaching middle schoolers yesterday. You would never get the blood off the ceiling.
