This was a show starring comedian Jim Jefferies that was canceled last year by FX. I just discovered it and it is hilarious and full of heart. It's sort of like Louie, but Jefferies is a decade or two younger and therefore dealing with a different set of problems. The guy that plays his friend Steve is hilarious and their use of special needs actors is pretty amazing. They all can act pretty fucking good too.
I absolutely loved this show and was crushed when they cancelled it. Even though it only went three seasons, it's well worth the watch. Fucking "TV Execs" don't know good shit when it rears up and bites them in the ass. Fuckwads.
It was only two seasons unfortunately. Fuck you Nett, I saw your post and got excited that I had a whole new season to watch.
The guy who plays Steve is a really good actor. I'm also surprised there are pretty much NO clips of this show on YouTube. SO many funny moments.
I thought Steve was a little bit too out of control the second season but it wasn't unrealistic. I just thought the second season was a little too dark compared to the first -- but that also paid off more with the really heart-filled moments of the show. There was a really good balance struck throughout.
