Oh motherfucker yeah Lik-M-Aid FUN DIP. They sold this shit at the concession stand at Little League games. The "dips" were pretty sour on their own, but chemically combined with the Lik-a-Stix for sweet dipping goodness.

    Fuck it I liked these,

    Diabetes in a tube:

I remember this being the end all be all of sugary snacks. I coveted these more than any other treat. I remember I saved up some money and convinced my grandma to let me buy a box of them when she took me shopping at Sams Club once, the only place I knew you could find them at the time.

I got home and ate HALF of the tubes the first night. My tongue was numb with the tangy pain caused by the acidic nature of the flavoring. I was wired as fuck for a few hours and then got sick. I tempered off my consumption after but they were still my favorite.

That reminds me of the time when my little brother and I paid our babysitter $7.00 to snort a line of Pixy Stick sugar. His nose bled like a faucet.

Yeah. Don't think my parents hired a bright one there.

My favorite snack was AM Mix. It's a custom made selection of the best childhood snacks. Basically at the end of the week the Kindergarten Teacher would mix together the left overs of each individual day's snack.

It came out as an even mixture popcorn, goldfish, and pretzels. This is AM Mix. Every single person looks at me weird for doing it. But I could eat piles and piles of it.

Trips to Grandma's were highlighted by these addicting treats. She would order them from the Schwan's guy in bulk meaning there always seemed to be a bag of 36 of them (and the ugly stepsister that was the Strawberry variety) in the freezer. Cue my siblings and I pounding 4-6 of these each before being caught and scolded. Rinse and repeat.

I still eat string cheese. What's wrong with that? (And yes, I peel them and eat them the right way, not bite them off in chunks.)

The best three (Gushers, Fruit Roll-Ups and Dunkaroos) have already been mentioned, but these deserve an honorable mention.

These used to be serious treats when I visited my grandparents. Sugary snacks never made it into my house.

Trips to Grandma's house were so great because she always had a drawer of these. These along with the chocolate milk she always had were paradise to my 8 year old self.

Gushers and Fruit by the Foot were probably my favourites, but I also really loved another candy where they were all shaped like coke bottles and flavoured after five or six different pops, I wish I could remember the name of it.

For those of us who like exploding things in our mouths. Plus the urban legend that drinking it with a coke would cause your stomach to explode which adding an element of danger that is so appealing to young kids.

My mom still gets me Dunkaroos for Christmas. I don't know where she finds them but I love it.
